  • Already planning our return trip for next year at this house!

"We were very pleased with the house. It was clean, spacious, easy to find, secluded and even a tad luxurious! The showers escpecially were first rate! The kitchen was furnished with everything we needed. We had 11 guys and there was plenty of room for everyone. John communicated with us very effeciently and was thorough in describing the surroundings and attractions. We couldn't have asked for more. We played the Jack Nicklaus course "Bear Trace". It was just about 15 or 20 minutes from the house. It was very perfect. We will be back to this area next year and wouldn't think of staying anywhere else."

  • Pinecone Cottage

"This was our 1st time at Pinecone and we loved it and didn't want to leave! Beautiful and clean cottage with all the amenities. We went hiking at the nearby falls, visited a couple cute antique stores, visited family and relaxed! It was a wonderful visit, we will be back! Thanks!"

  • Grands add to the visit to Grandview

"We are regular visitors at Grandview Cottages. But this was a first visit with 2 grand daughters. They loved everything about it, and didn't mind the lack of internet (however, one did get a signal through the I phone, and pateched to the I pad). They loved the hammock, horse shoes, fire ring and s'mores, fishing, and the hike to upper Piney Falls. They are ready to return. Honeysuckle was their place, especially the loft."

  • Family Thanksgiving

"My extended family and I decided to start spending one holiday of the year as an away retreat, and we spent our first, the 2013 Thanksgiving holiday, at the Caryonah cabin. Our ages ranged from 4 to 70, and the stay was a treat for each and every one. We were delayed in our arrival on Wednesday evening, and Bobbie Jo stayed on the premises until our first family member arrived. My family was very impressed with the accommodations and peaceful surroundings. My sisters especially enjoyed the two well stocked kitchens. The owners were very friendly and available to provide anything to us that we did not have in our cabin. We are already looking forward to staying here again during the warmer months so that we can take advantage of the outdoor kitchen and fishing that is located on the premises."
