A Charming Cabin….Even More Beautiful Than The Pictures!
"Our family spent a week at the beautiful Stag’s Leap cabin in August. The wonderful owners, Carolyn & Chris were so accommodating and extremely helpful. They made our first experience renting a cabin enjoyable, easy and carefree. They were quick to respond to all of our numerous emails and gave us fantastic advice on the surrounding attractions not to miss…even what roads to take to avoid the traffic/congestion! Their breathtaking, spacious, fully stocked cabin is conveniently located to all the amenities (shopping, grocery stores, outlet mall, etc.) and really close to all the visitors attractions & the Great Smoky Mountains. It is magnificently decorated in a warm and inviting style so much so that it became our home away from home. My sons (ages 16, 12, & 9) absolutely loved the hot tub, playing pool and especially what they considered their own mini “apartment” upstairs (LOL!). Fabulous attractions that we loved: WonderWorks, Nascar Parkway, Dollywood, the trails in the Great Smoky Mountains, Cade’s Cove, & Ole Smoky Moonshine (their Extra Hot Hillbilly Caviar aka ChowChow is delicious). There is soooo much to do in Gatlinburg / Pigeon Forge / Sevierville that I know we will definitely be back. It was an amazing, relaxing yet fun vacation. We all agreed we'd stay at Stag’s Leap again and would highly recommend it (and have to all our friends)! Thanks for sharing your piece of heaven with us!

"22 of us met in Gatlinburg for my 50th birthday/ family reunion! This house was great because it had parking for all our vehicles and was close to the pool! The balconies were awesome and we camped out on the upper level every day! Tv,s were in every bedroom and you could get away from everyone for some quiet! Nice big house and lots so space to gather. Nice to have the washer and dryer and dishwasher for our use. The only downside is there is really no pace for kids to be outside, but as I said the house is huge and we either kept them in or went to the pool! Close to everything and easy access! Great stay and the owner is great to work with!"

"We found this cabin to be almost perfect. The size and amenities are great and were enjoyed by our whole group, from papa and nana down to the youngest 3-year-old grandchild. It is tricky to find the drive on the first trip up, so be aware. Also, we were under the impression it would be away in the mountains but, in fact, the main Gatlinburg highway is both visible and audible from the decks, with the accompanying hawking of wares from some of the local tourist traps. This does not reflect on the cabin, however, which is grand in every way and would be perfect if it were tucked away in the mountains. Our little ones enjoyed the puppet theater, and we enjoyed watching the shows created there. The hot tub got daily use by many of our group. Be aware that the door to the washer/dryer closet should be kept open a bit when in use, as the heat really builds up inside and causes the alarm to go off. It is really too bad that the people of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge put so much more emphasis on hawking carnival atmosphere type activities instead of focusing on the natural beauty of the Smoky Mountains. We were disappointed in this aspect of our stay but, once again, the cabin was not at all at fault for this and was a great retreat."
