  • Even nicer than pictured!

"This property is absolutely awesome! It was even nicer than pictured. The property sits on a slope and the pathway down to the dock is beautifully landscaped. There are 5 porch swings on the property, including 1 by the dock and 1 on the wooded slope. This creates many lovely spaces to spread out to. The lake was actually warm which was a nice surprise. We all enjoyed swimming, kayaking, and fishing this very large lake. We had rain only once, in the evening, and spent an awesome time out front under the covered porch watching it all. We also enjoyed Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. My 80 year old father joined us on the zipline and it's one of his favorite stories to tell everyone now! (Check Groupon, etc. for possible tickets ahead of time/Also many attractions offer military/veteran discounts with card up to 50% off-thanks Dad!) The two cities are very, very packed with people during the prime season period so you are going to want to choose a place that you can hang out at and that will be a major part of the vacation itself. The Pioneer Trading Post offers many beautiful spots to relax and unwind, reconnect with loved ones, and enjoy lakeside activities. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us!"

  • Awesome for Families, Wonderful Cabin, 2nd Time Staying Here

"This is our second time renting this cabin. We absolutely love it. Our kids enjoy the pool and we appreciate the convenience of it being right next door. The cabin is very nice. If you are looking for a cabin hanging off a cliff with a hundred mile view... this is not it. However if you are looking for an awesome cabin where you feel you are in the middle of nowhere, but the parkway is just around the corner, this is the cabin for you. I love being 2 minutes from light number 1 in Pigeon Forge. Everything my family likes to do....Hatfields, Outlet Mall, Comedy Barn, Smokey Mt. Opry, Food and Great Restaurants, Dollywood, Dixie Stampede.... All of these are just a few minutes from this cabin. I have rented cabins in the past that take you 15-20 minutes just to get to the Parkway and then sometimes another 20 minutes just to get to where you are going. We did a lot of new things this year around the area. We did Ober Gatlinburg, Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail - Highly Recommended, Smk Mt. Coaster (we always stop by Cakes by Bakin Bishop) for the best Cupcake anywhere, Wonder Works & Magic Show by Terry Evanswood - Highly Recommend, Comedy Barn (So fun, clean family comedy), Hatfields & McCoys (Great Show), Smokey Mt. Opry (Unbelievable), Tanger, Flea Market, Gem Mine, Old Mill Square and Restaurant - Highly Recommened......Whew, wow we did a lot of stuff. And still had time for swimming. Anyways this review is supposed to be about the cabin. Bottom line.... Convenient, Loved It, Easy Access, Craig and team are great to deal with, Clean, Comfortable, Reasonably Priced. Awesome place to hang out with your family. Thank you so much for sharing this cabin with us."

  • Killingsworths

"This is an awesome place to stay!! This was our third stay at this cabin. Definitely will be booking all our vacation stays in Pigeon Forge at this cabin. Secluded area but within just minutes you can walk to the streets of Pigeon Forge. We love this cabin and Legenia is easy to deal with. We plan to go back again in the early fall for a short stay with some extended family members. This is definitely the place a large group wants to stay. Highly recommend this cabin!!"

Dunlap Travel Tips

Experience East Tennessee with Dunlap Vacation Rentals

You've probably never been to Dunlap, Tennessee, but once you've visited this East Tennessee town settled in the picturesque Sequatchie Valley, you may not ever want to leave. Dunlap vacation rentals can make your stay even more enjoyable, however, by providing amenities and comforts you just won't get in a hotel. Providing a privacy and homeyness that easily outdoes other East Tennessee resorts, Dunlap vacation rentals are ideal for couple getaways or vacations with the whole family. Dunlap cabins usually feature multiple private bedrooms, large yards, indoor recreation areas, full kitchens, and washer and dryer facilities as well as proximity to outdoor recreation areas, like lakes, that are sometimes right on the property. You could fish, swim, and canoe a few steps from your front door.

Sights to See in East Tennessee

Dunlap vacation rentals are ideally situated in East Tennessee, being but thirty minutes from Chattanooga, where families can visit Tennessee's largest aquarium or play in the Creative Discovery museum, a favorite with children. Dunlap cabins are also only twenty minutes from Fall Creek Falls, where a large state park offers swimming, horseback riding, and hiking to numerous majestic waterfalls among its many nature-centered activities.

Enjoy Bluegrass and Country Music

Music lovers staying in Dunlap cabins may also enjoy taking in unique bluegrass and country music offerings, most notably at the Coke Ovens Bluegrass Festival, which takes place every June in Dunlap's own Coke Ovens Park. Travel a little farther to experience the Riverbend Music Festival, a nine-day event in Chattanooga on the banks of the Tennessee River, where music fans can hear a great diversity of music, from classic rock to country. This event also takes place in June. No matter what reason you have for visiting, Dunlap vacation rentals will provide the ideal home-away-from-home for your stay in East Tennessee.
