"My family and I make an annual trip to Dollywood in Pigeon Forge every year to see the Christmas lights and shows. I must say this condo was the best accommodations we have had while visiting the area. The condo was spacious, clean, and well kept. The beds slept great...or perhaps the grandchildren just wore me out. The location was great. I just signed a contract to return in the summer. Melissa was great to work with. I would recommend this condo to anyone."

"We were looking for a cabin pre-holiday getaway. The Sunset Lodge was amazing! The cabin was secluded enough to enjoy the mountains and feel remote yet a quick drive to Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg. There are taxi services available in the area which allowed us to enjoy the nightlife. Many others mentioned a "scary" drive to the property. If you want a mountain cabin, you have to drive up a mountain.
The Christmas decorations were a nice touch. The beds are amazing! The decorations are adorable. There were also CDs to listen to and boards games for the nights you want to stay in and relax by the fire.
We have booked several properties through VRBO and Carloyn provided us with the best experience thus far. She was available anytime by text and quickly responded.
Thanks again for a fantastic vacation!"

"Very clean condo close enough to walk in Gatlinburg or ride tram to other areas, yet far enough away for quite relaxation. Owners were very accomodating to needs. Check out time of 9 AM is a bit early. Will be back!!"

Was a great place to stay with kids and grandparents!
"This was a great cabin that is minutes away from it all but quiet enough to think you are in a secluded area.
We were greeted the first morning by a large pile of bear poop right outside the master suite...this of course got the kids, and well, all of us excited and on our toes more for a bear sighting! We never saw any at this cabin, but drove up the hill and twice saw a mother and 4 cubs, and one time the big papa bear!
The cabin has all basic amenities, was clean and had a great wrap around porch. My only two concerns that might help others is that the bedrooms are not on main level, so this was a bit of challenge with my father who has harder time with stairs. Also, the spiral staircase was neat, but was a bit creaky when an adult went up, definitely for a smaller person☺. We had our 18 month old son with us, and I wish I would have thought to bring ours, but it would have been nice to have a gate to put up for either/both stairs... Seems one of us was constantly pulling him off of the stairs.
We all enjoyed the seemingly endless hot water supply, all getting to take a shower and not freeze after the first person went. The hot tub was refreshing after a long day out adventuring as well.
There was only one set of cards there, which we did enjoy using, but in past cabins finding some puzzles or games hidden in the drawers was always a nice bonus. Just a recommendation.
The kids slept on the sofa beds, which were not too comfy, but they were so tired they didn't mind. After the first night on the main sofa bed, son found it more comfortable just to sleep on sofa cushions.
Overall we did enjoy this cabin and we had a wonderful time and made memories to keep for another fall break. Thank you."
