God's Gift Cabin
"This was our first trip to the Smoky Mountains. We brought our 2 youngest children (ages 16 and 13). We arrived about 10:30 at night which was a bit difficult for our first time in the area, but we found our way. Imagine our surprise to see our surroundings the next day. Beautiful! The cabin was very clean. The mattresses were way too soft for us, but that was not a deal-breaker by any means. We were within a 1.5-2 hr drive to Biltmore Estate which is expensive but highly recommended. On the way back we came in from the south and went to Clingman's Dome. Other short trips included the Roaring Fork Drive with a hike to Grotto Falls and the Cades Cove drive (3 bear cubs sighted!). Each evening it was so nice to "go home". We had a puzzle going on the kitchen table and played card games in front of the fireplace. We brought our own movies. There is an extensive movie collection (DVDs and VHS), but many are horror films. That's ok, just not quite what we're used to watching. There were plenty of satellite channels to watch as well. I needed to ask some questions before our stay and also communicate with Maria after our stay. She always responded quickly through email and was very accommodating. Since we've never been in the area before, I can't compare God's Gift to any other cabin. However, we were very very satisfied."

"First of all, Cathie, the owner, is very kind and helpful. Any time I needed to ask a question, she would reply immediately. We have stayed in many cabins over the years, & this one beats all. This isn't just a cabin. Every nook, cranny & corner was decorated very tastefully, making for a cozy atmosphere. It feels like a home away from home, instead of the usual cabin. The view is amazing, and my favorite was the area where the grill is outside. There was something very magical and welcoming about that space, and it was super quiet...a great place to meditate on the large rocks. The kitchen was stocked pretty well, as we love to cook and sip fine wines. It's great having the hot tub outside w/the amazing view. And the pool table and rec room were a lot of fun, esp. when it rained. The swings on the porch added to the experience. This is definitely one of the most high-end cabins where we have stayed, and everything is custom-made, from all the light fixtures to towel racks to everything else. Very tastefully done. Warm and inviting. My husband and our friends really enjoyed our stay there. Our little 6-pound maltipoo had a blast, too, and had plenty of grass space to run around outside. We also enjoyed walking around the neighborhood during the day and at night. And it's within minutes of downtown Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, even though you can't here a sound (outside nature) from the cabin. It feels like we're in the wilderness. I would highly recommend this cabin for a getaway."

"Thanks for the use of your cabin! I can't wait to come back already! Im contemplating planning another trip already and we haven't even left the area yet! LOL
The hot tub and jacuzzi were great and the area was so quiet and secluded but convenient!
We'll be back!"
