"Seems like we alway come in the hottest part of the year but this year it was a little better than last year. Gatlinburg is an awesome place with everything to do. This is the first time we have used a cabin because we usually just book a hotel. However, we will never go back to a hotel. For the price of what we have to pay for two rooms we got this cabin for less and it had a lot more amenities and privacy.
I thank the Stoltz family for letting us use their cabin for the time we were here. The clubhouse swimming pool was an excellent escape, not only for the kids but myself. It was so relaxing to hear the sound of the waterfall in the pool and we even stayed way into the evening. Made it feel as if it were our own pool.
The walk down was no problem but called the husband for a return trip because we didnt want to walk back up. Too exhausting from swimming....lol
We noticed the club house was being remodeled. Looks like it is going to be nice when finished with the flooring.
We got to see some critters trying to get into the trash bins. It was a BEAR!!! That was amazing to see. We took lots of pics. He was little but ever so cute. That will be something we will never forget. We always stayed in the hotels and never got to see critters so this was a bonus. Thanks!!!!
Cabin was great. We had 10 of us and it was very comfortable and we appreciate all you have done for us. Especially when the maintenance brought us the extra bulbs needed when the light went out on the front of the cabin. Made it easier to get groceries out of the car.
SEE you all again next year and yes in JULY again.......LOL"

Great first time mountain vacation for our family of 10!
"My family has been wanting to vacation in the Mountains of TN for years now. We finally decided to go this year. We have 8 children and finding an adequate and affordable vacation home for a week has been noting short of challenging every singe year. Until this year.
This house was fantastic, truly. Our children range in age from one who just turned 18 all the way down to our youngest who just turned 2. There was something for everyone and plenty of space for us all to enjoy ourselves. This house is tucked down a long hill of a driveway at a dead end. Our kids loved riding their bikes thru the neighborhood and the little ones had a blast riding up and down the hill and playing out front without us worrying for cars or whatever. Just watch out for bears, we had one on the front porch not 5 mins after we came in for dinner one of the nights! But he didn't bother us and we stayed behind the door LOL
The place is in a great location too. It was easy for us to get to the grocery store, Gatlinburg and the National Park. It is right off the cutest little section of shops in the art loop. Its more secluded than most of the other cabins we saw walking around the neighborhood. It feels like you're tucked away. We loved that.
The inside was clean, and well kept up. Everything is provided, which if you're used to renting beach houses, you will know, that is SOOOOO nice. You don't have to bring all the linens, soaps, trash bags, TP, etc. SO nice when you're packing for 10 ppl! The kitchen was well stocked enough for me to cook three times a day on most days.
The only downside for us was the raccoons, who just raided the trash every night no matter how tight we did the bungee cords (until we figured out that putting the chairs on top make them too heavy to tip over) and the stairs to the basement were incredibly steep. That wouldn't have mattered if we didn't have little kids going up and down them. Our older kids (5yr old and up) did fine. Oh and there was nowhere to store your clothes which got kinda messy by midweek. But even still, we had a great time and we've recommended this place already.
Thank you Bears Fun House and the beautiful mountains of TN, we will be back next year for sure!"

"We rented this great little cabin for our 9 day stay in the mountains. Wonderful location....quiet but close to all Gatlinburg activities! Very cozy and nicely decorated. The owners were wonderful to work with on the rental. I recommend this sweet cabin. Perfect for a couple."

"Our family of 4 loved staying at this cabin. It was so spacious and clean and the views are just unbelievable. I loved that you had the feel of being out of town and in the mountains but still 20 minutes from both the Gatlinburg strip (even closer to the Arts & Crafts community) and Pigeon Forge. The hot tub was wonderful after a long day of sight seeing. Pam was very responsive to any questions or issues we had. We were so sad to leave and hope to come back someday!! Would stay here again without hesitation."
