"Everyone had a great time at Grandview. The views were amazing of downtown Gatlinburg, especially at night. I guess the bears smelled the popcorn the kids were eating on the deck cause 5 came right up close and investigated. It was something we will never forget."

"This is our second stay at the house. It was nice last year and this year the owner's had upgraded furniture and TV's as well as painting. We had 5 family members and the house was great for the two with mobility issues since two of the bedrooms and the living area are on the main floor. We saw a bear on the deck that came by to check out the bbq grill. The house has a great view and is a convenient drive to downtown Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and the National park. It's well stocked with kitchen equipment and has a pool table and arcade machine. We had a great week and definitely recommend this house."

"I found the cabin during an internet search while trying to find a vacation destination for our family to celebrate our parents' 50th wedding anniversary. The owner was great with communications throughout the whole process, and ultimately, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Buckhead Lodge! Our group consisted of 28 people, ranging in age from 11 months to 72 years old. The cabin offered plenty of space for everyone and the location provided so many options for activities. The views have been mentioned many times- they are truly incredible! The theater room was a big hit with everyone and the game room saw lots of action too. The deck was in nearly constant use just for relaxing and enjoying the view and quite a few enjoyed the hot tub as well. There are a lot of stairs depending on which floor your room is- we were lucky to have kids to send up and down :) The parking took a little while to figure out- the driveway is steep! Luckily, the cabin next door was unoccupied quite a bit of the time and when occupied the people were OK with our overflow parking there. If you're not used to mountain roads, the drive up to the cabin can be a little nerve wracking at first too, but definitely got easier through our stay. Some of the activities we enjoyed were Dollywood, Dixie Stampede, Cade's Cove (a few of us saw bears there) hiking, Mountain coaster, horseback riding, the Gatlinburg Arts & Crafts loop, the Titanic, and my brother in law took his boat out on Douglas Lake (even saw a Bald Eagle). There was so much to do, and after surveying the family, the general consensus was that they would come back in the future!
Our entire family had a memorable vacation with tons of pictures of the gorgeous scenery- thank goodness for digital cameras! :)"

"We were so pleased with this cabin. Owners are great to deal with. It suited our budget with the bonus of space for our family. Perfect for relaxing & sitting around playing guitars, indoors & outdoors. We loved the location, not to close to town, but not 8 miles up a mountain. Loved the level acces thru the patio door. Plan to stay again & would highly recommend."
