  • Romantic Cabin

"My husband and I rented this cabin for our 20th wedding anniversary and were not disappointed. It is private and peaceful. It was wonderful playing pool in the downstairs entertainment room and then listening to the crickets in the evenings. The trees were dropping acorns all over and a few times we were almost pegged, but hey, that's nature. We bought some steaks and grilled them and after dinner had a glass of wine while relaxing in the hot tub listening to the sounds of the woods. We were fortunate enough to see a black momma bear and her cub walking along the road to the cabin. We got some great pictures as we slowly and carefully drove by them. Many of the stores in downtown Gatlinberg has changed since we were last there but the atmosphere is the same. We visited the many hiking trails and swimming holes we were familiar with. If anyone was looking for a good hiking trail, The Chimney Tops is always a winner. Our favorite swimming hole is called The Sinks and is right off a road in the Smokies. I highly recommend this cabin and hope to rent it again. Thanks for an amazing place to stay for our anniversary!"

  • Peaceful, relaxing vacation

"We had a very nice time.. the location provides a very peaceful and relaxing setting. The home is very comfortable, nice upgrades in the kitchen and the flooring upstairs. Very comfortable furniture and beds. We only had one hick up, which the owner responded to right away. We discovered the appliances and outlets on one wall in the kitchen were not working. Called the owner and he directed us to the breaker box outside, where we reset the breaker and all was fine. A few of us had limited reception on our cell phones, and I lost him when we were speaking. So he called back and sent a text message to make sure we got everything working again. He also sent an email the following day to make sure everything was still working properly. We really appreciated his quick response and concern. We kept our eyes out for bears, and we did see three down the road one day. Took a drive and saw elk and wild turkeys. If you enjoy being close to a tourist town, while still in the mountains with fresh air and wildlife and all the comforts of home, then this is a great place to stay."

  • Awesome Family Vacation

"What a blessing! Our entire family loved this beautifully decorated 3-story chalet. The younger children enjoyed the board games and movies in the game room while the adults enjoyed the pool table and hot tub. The views from the 3rd story were breathtaking. We had everything we needed to prepare our meals. Thank you, Christine, for sharing your home with us!"
