  • Lovely Cabin

"Really enjoyed our stay. The best part was the bear that came up and hung around for about an hour. Cabin is decorated beautifully."

  • Great views!

"We enjoyed our stay. Located 2900 ft. elevation above the east end of Gatlinburg. The entrance to the Smokies is at the base of the mountain. The owner provides many basic necessities."

  • The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year At The Most Wonderful Place In Gatlinburg

"We planned a family gathering as a special Christmas present for our 84 year old mother. When I came across the listing I was impressed with everything I saw and the view of the city lights of Gatlinburg. That was one of the favorite things she loved was the night lights of Gatlinburg. When we arrived our expectations weren't met, they were exceeded by the warmth of the furnishings and the decor of the cabin. Even the gates leading to both decks are craved wood with Bears on them. Each room had its own character and the oversized chair and ottomon in the second floor loft was a great place to relax and admire the Christmas tree. With fire places both in the main floor den and the lower floor game room, it gave us extra space to stretch out and enjoy the warm rich atmosphere. For a five bedroom cabin overlooking the prime view of the mountains and the city lights of Gatlinburg, this cabin is well priced for all that it has to offer. We were fortunate to have mostly sunshine during our stay which afforded us the opportunity to enjoy the two outside decks and the sitting areas in the backyard areas. One morning we saw two black bears (mom and a cub) walk across the road. The mountain cabin decor with the wood walls down to the light fixtures and ceiling fans set the tone for a great four night stay. The cabin was spotless inside and out and the hot tub was very relaxing after a long day in the city. I have been going to Gatlinburg at Christmas for over 20 years and stayed in numerous cabins from 1 to 5 bedrooms. I honestly can say this cabin gave me the best sense of warmth and comfort and certainly well priced for all that it offers and more! I would rent this cabin even if I only needed 3 bedrooms because of its location, decor and the awesome views of the city lights and the mountain range. There was snow in the higher elevations of the mountains and the views in the daytime sun were amazing. We are planning to book this cabin next December and if I were to visit even in the spring, summer or fall, the views alone are worth the short drive up the mountain."

  • Outstanding Place to Stay

"We had a small reunion (3 families) in Gatlinburg and stayed at this awesome 'cabin' not far from downtown. The fact that it had 3 full bathrooms (plus a half-bath downstairs) made it absolutely ideal for us all to stay in one place rather than getting 3 hotel rooms or separate cabins. It was perfectly decorated and furnished for comfort and fun. The kids enjoyed the foosball and billiards, and the adults enjoyed the hot tub and sauna. If you follow the directions they give you when you book it, it is a very easy to follow and straightforward drive from the end of the downtown strip. Just look for the mailbox shaped like a fish! We found a great pizza place down the road, too -- Volunteer Pizza -- and they deliver to the cabin. It doesn't have WiFi, but that's about the only negative we could find for this awesome property. Luckily most of us had 4G service on our phones, so it didn't really matter. We'll definitely come back here to stay on our next trip to Gatlinburg."
