"The condo is located at the top of a long winding mountain road, approx. 10 minutes drive from Gatlinberg to the Summit of the mountain. It's worth the drive for the spectacular view. It's a true long range mountain view, not one of those partial views that so many of these type 'mountain' cabins have. We recommend the drive to nearby Cades Cove in Spring, Summer, or Fall. We go there frequently to 'Bear watch'. GO EARLY if you go, it's an 11 mile 1 way road, traffic backs up quickly. It's worth the drive. Google Cades Cove for info. Bears can be seen in Spring, Summer and Fall. The condo is very roomy, and kids would enjoy the Pools. The value is tremendous for the space, sleeping arrangements, view, etc. MUCH Better then a Hotel room, if you are willing to make that drive up to the mountaintop."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Papa Bear. We had 9 adults and it fit our needs perfectly. Each family was able to sleep on their own floor of the house. The 2 decks are just perfect and hot tub is wonderful at night. We brought all of our food with us and the kitchen was furnished nicely. We were missing a few little things, can opener and kitchen towel) we ended up finding a kitchen towel draped outside on the deck later in our stay. We didn't have much dish soap but made due. The location couldn't have been better. We were no more than 20 mins to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. And the view was just stunning. We hiked Alum Cave and it took about 39 minutes to get there. So nice to come home and sit in the hot tub. It was so quiet and peaceful. We can not wait to go back."

"OMG!!!!! This place was awesome. There was 13 of us, ages from 65 to 14 months old. Every bedroom was great. King size beds with king size pillows. Private bathrooms for each one. There were enough towels in each one, also supplied with toilet paper and small soaps to get you started. Kitchen was nice was enough room for 3 or 4 people to be in there at the same time. Cookware was perfect. It had everything we needed. I mean everything we needed even a crock pot. The kids loved the game room. They had to be told to go to bed. Hot tub was nice!!!!! It was clean and worked perfectly. Deck was very large. Nice outside table and 4 chairs. 2 wooden rockers where my husband stayed most the time. Several outside chairs by the hot tub. Living room was very large and accommodate this large drop. The Welcome Center is right there on street you go up. Stop there get information. Trolley is also there. Good idea to use it. Parking is from $6.00 to $10.00. That's a little high. I must say that none of us wanted to leave. JAMIE WAS AWESOME!!!!!! This lady goes overboard to make your stay here is the best. I had communication with her at all times and response time is great. THANK YOU JAMIE YOU ARE AWESOME.!!!!!!😀😀😀😀😀 I do need to add that we were there only 20 minutes and there was a bear in the driveway to cool🐹🐹🐹🐹. As for the driveway, well we gat a lot of laughs from driving up and down. Very steep but was blacktop very nice. PLEASE STAY HERE YOU WILL LOVE IT.😍😍😍"

"Went to this great cabin for a full week's vacation. This time of year the weather was a bit rainy, but it didn't make any difference to us. The cabin and hot tub were excellent. Downtown is very close, and not very busy this time of year which made shopping very easy. We hiked up to Rainbow Falls and drove the Cades Cove loop. Great times and you actually see more without the leaves on the trees. Easy to save some money by fixing breakfasts at "home" then eating while we were on the town. Best off, my son asked his girlfriend to marry him while we were at the top of Rainbow Falls. What a week to remember! One of the most relaxing vacations my family has had. Great location and great cabin. Thanks for the use and the memories. Definitely worth going back! Likely now with the "in-laws". Plenty of room for all of them to join us next year."
