"My husband and I stayed at the cabin with our 2 small children and other family members for a week and had all the accommodations of home
A little further away from the tourist attractions than we would have liked but very close the a community center which offered bowling, swimming etc and all indoors!
The inside stairs of the cabin were a little steep
The driveway was very steep and had a curve in it which made it difficult and scary when manovering 3 vehicles but the cabin itself wasn't that high up the mountain.
Grociery store and dollar store and fuel station right down the road
The children enjoyed running around the yard at night catching fireflies! Which were all released!
Not as secluded as we would have liked but we enjoyed our stay
Thank you to the owners for making their beautiful home available to us!"

"We Absolutely enjoyed our time in Gatlinburg as I Knew we would, Our Three Grandchildren keep repeatedly thanking us for bringing them to Gatlinburg and for having so much fun. The Amazing Victorian Chalet was perfect, the house had everything we would need with the comforts of home. We Would highly recommend this Rental Property, The Views are Beautiful especially from the hot tub. Thank You Tim And Donna for Sharing your little peace of Heaven with our Family. Looking forward to returning and Making More Memories With Our Grandchildren. Robie and Cynthia Evans"

"Our family had a fantastic time & the house had plenty of room for us all to move around in. The drive to & from Gatlinburg & Pigeon Forge was not a big deal at all. We're glad we stayed further up in the mountain rather than closer to the shops.
However, you must be prepared for the black bears! We saw one every day in front of the house! One destroyed the metal around the garbage can in the house across the street. They didn't attempt to come to us - in fact, they seemed to avoid us. However, on the last evening, a smaller bear decided to come to our car (just arrived back after dinner) and circled the car & stood up at the hood of the car. My husband thought this was the coolest thing ever...I, on the other hand, did not! I did get a picture of this too!
I would have given this home a 5 star rating, but I did not for 2 reasons. First, the picture of the "view" from the hot tub area is no longer accurate. In fact, there is no view - the trees are all grown & it feels more like a campground. It would be nice if some of the trees were removed/trimmed so you would have some sort of view of the mountains. Second, was the grill. I brought food for meals based on the home having a grill. The grill has seen better days - very rusted. I could live with the rust, but the bottom of the grill had 2 large holes in it - we were able to grill hamburgers the first night, but the grill was unfit to be used after that. I sent a text requesting a replacement grill, but I did not receive any response. For this, I was disappointed.
Our family will definitely return to the mountains!"
