"This was our third stay at the cabin, so; I guess that means we like it alot. It is very clean and cozy, has everything you need. A perfect place to relax after touring the many places to go. I caught several fish from the ponds and not all little ones. We will be going back."

  • Awesome views; great location

"The payoff for driving up the mountain to this cabin is the awesome mountain views. You can also see pigeon forge lit up at night from this cabin. The location is perfect between Gatlinburg and pigeon forge. The street signs for Sky Harbor are clearly marked. Just make sure its daylight when you first arrive. It will make it easier finding your cabin on the winding mountain road. The cabin itself was clean. A little funny smell in the kitchen sink and the living room furniture could definitely use a good cleaning as the upholstery was very dusty. Otherwise, the cabin was clean. The pool table and hot tub were both great. Water pressure for showers was good. The tv's were a little on the small side. Wifi and satellite worked fine. The beds were comfortable. With all of the choices, it can be nerve racking deciding on a vacation home. Everything went smooth and to plan with this surprises. All and all my family and I loved this cabin and when we go back, we will look to return here. Note: it's approximately 2 miles from the entrance of sky harbor to the cabin...set your trip. All street signs and cabin addresses are marked well. You can back your vehicle right to the porch, perfect for unloading. HAVE FUN! Hope this helps"

"I must write a review on this cabin and our trip to the area. First the trip...we chose this time of year to enjoy the fall colors and weather and we weren't disappointed. Our view from our cabin was amazing but going through the Smokey Mountains and Cades Cove was beyond compare. Being from Florida, we were so happy to be able to wear sweaters as we enjoyed temperatures ranging from the uppers 30s to the upper 60s with a day of low 70s. So enjoyable. Our only disappointment was not seeing much wildlife in Cades Cove as we were expecting. One deer, two glimpses of bears, a turkey and a groundhog was it. Going through the town of Gatlinburg was fun and the food at Best Pizza was AMAZING! Don't miss this place. Pigeon Forge reminds me of driving thru Kissimmee, FL so didnt like that but some of the places to shop at and eat were really nice and the mountain views were beautiful. Now for the cabin. We wanted a place like home and we got just that. Granted some of the blinds upstairs are cheap but this is a rental but the ones downstairs are very nice. The king size bed was so comfortable we didnt want to get out. The dining room table is so sturdy and well made, the furniture comfortable and the tvs and wi-fi top notch. Didn't actually use the kitchen appliances as we were on vacation and didn't plan on cooking meals but they are very nice and seemed recently purchased. All in all I would rate this cabin at least a 4 star. The hot tub was so relaxing but playing pool was a challenge as all the balls tended to roll to one side and the video game machine seemed to take a beating from past guests but was still fun to play. Renting was a breeze, directions to the cabin and security codes excellent and drive up and down the mountains fun and exciting. Not sure that I would want to drive up here in the winter unless I had a 4 wheel drive though as its a very steep drive up. Cabins were around us but we still had a feeling of seclusion without actually being secluded. Being able to bring my dog the next time we come is a nice option that I might possibly do. All in all you won't go wrong renting this cabin or vacationing in this area. A much deserved rewind was received."
