  • Family reunion

"We had a group of 17 family members from age 2 to 85 and the house was fantastic. There was plenty of room in the common areas to enjoy each other without being crowded. The kitchen was well equipped and could comfortably hold multiple cooks. The table and the view from it were fantastic. We enjoyed seeing wild turkeys and a black bear from the deck. The bedrooms and baths were nice. The upstairs baths were a little tight for the taller family members and the upstairs water pressure was a little low. We were close enough to town it was quick and easy to take advantage of all the area has to offer. We would highly recommend the cabin."

  • Best-of-the-Best at a Great Price

"My wife and I stayed at this wonderful cabin with our two best friends and we all had an amazing week. We enjoyed the comforts of home, as well as the feel of a rustic cabin in the mountains. Kitchen is modern and well equipped. Two bedrooms with full baths, lots of closet space, HD TVs, etc. Living room includes a gas fireplace, DVD TV, Stereo, etc. Dining room has a nice size table for seating six people, and you could squeeze in eight. The cabin has a magnificent porch with Hot Tub. The yard includes a great charcoal grill, nice swing, and horse shoes. Owner was very kind to include lots of personal touches: Games, large selection of DVD movies, throws, wash cloths for removing make-up, candy, etc. The interior design was very impressive; sort of a chalet appeal with slight touch of a fishing lodge: The men and ladies were all impressed. A real plus was the flat area around the cabin. We were able to park two cars next to the cabin and walk on flat ground. Yet, the cabin is on a hill with a great view. Additionally, the cabin is only a block away from a pond, which is also a flat area great for walking. It is 1/2 mile around the pond with a beautiful view and an easy walk. If anyone prefers more difficult hiking and walking, this side of nature also surrounds you. We cooked and grilled a lot of food. The kitchen included all the pots, pans, baking dishes, bowls, etc., we needed, as well as many spices. We enjoyed the cabin so much we spent around 60% of our week at the cabin and the remaining 40% enjoying sight seeing, restaurants, shopping, and entertaining shows. The cabin also included central heat and air, a washer and dryer, and a dish washer. Additionally, the refrigerator had a nice size freezer and an ice maker. The owner was so very polite and accommodating. We needed absolutely nothing at anytime, but knew we could phone her anytime needed. It is very obvious the owner wants her guests to have the best vacation possible. Location was also perfect. The cabin was located mid way between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We could be in either town within several minutes. This cabin was definitely in the mountains, but the roads were paved and easy to navigate. We also counted it a plus that getting to the cabin did not require traveling up hills so steep one feels reluctant to drive on them. If you have ever stayed in areas where it is difficult to drive and/or walk, this is a major plus."

  • A Moosey Time!!! ❤️❤️

"The cabin had just been decorated for the holidays and was beautiful!! Everything MOOSE!! The owner Geri was wonderful to work with and accommodating!! The house was very clean and cozy!! Sitting in the hot tub with it snowing was magical and the grill was new and worked perfectly. There is a beautiful place to hike at the bottom of the hill of the property that we greatly enjoyed. Our stay was 4 days/3 nights and just too short....we wished it could have been longer!!"

  • Roomy and beautiful views!!!!

"We were so excited to go to Gatlinburg for Halloween. It is an annual trip for us. John was so accommodating in helping us get our reservations secured. We knew there was a forecast for snow but we definitely wasnt expecting to wake up to 5 inches. It was beautiful to watch the hues of the fall colors on Friday, then see the covered white trees on Saturday. The view is incredible. The cabin had everything you would need to spend a weekend or even a week there. It was so roomy and we did not feel cramped up in there even with 7 people. The kitchen was better equipped than most cabins. The only thing I would recommend taking is maybe some plastic cups for people with children. The young people were all downstairs and enjoyed the pool table and watching movies. The adults enjoyed the upstairs peace and quiet. The beds were very comfortable. Not expecting that however pleasantly surprised. Plenty of parking and easy access from the cabin to either pigeon forge or gatlinburg. We parked at the welcome center and rode the trolleys everywhere. I would recommend this cabin to anyone. You will not be dissapointed and I guarantee you that you will not find any nicer people to work with than John. The power went out due to the snow storm (trees were down ) and he called and checked on us every little while and gave us updates. Unfortunately we had to leave a day early due to no electricity. That was sad but we will definitely be going back again."
