  • Wonderful cabin!

"This was a great cabin, in a great location, for a great price! There were seven of us and had plenty of room. The kids loved the decorations and the fenced in yard. The cabin was close to everything, but far enough away as well. It was very neat and clean when we arrived and stocked with everything we needed. Great place!"

  • Three visits and planning a fourth

"We first stayed here back in 2010, and our last vacation at Bearway to Heaven concluded on Friday, Halloween, 2014, which makes this our third visit to the cabin. Looks like it snowed that night after we left for Michigan, so we missed the snow for a change. As usual the cabin was everything we had hoped for. The new pool table was a nice addition, and overall it was as nice as we had remembered it being. As we were leaving we finally saw a black bear, almost at the bottom of Parson's Branch. The cabin next to us took video of a huge black bear that crossed the road at the bottom of our cabin driveway, so bears were still active! Thanks again Glenn and Vickie for a wonderful vacation."

  • Great Family Vacation Cabin

"Located less than 15 minutes from Gatlinburg, but in a secluded and serene setting on the river. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are spacious and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook up a storm. That included steaks on the gas grill, smores in the outdoor fireplace and hearty breakfasts in the kitchen. The kids (ages 1 -5) LOVED crawling though the tunnels, and 2 of them slept in the cubbies. We thought of this cabin as "weather insurance" since there is so much to do if your regular plans get rained out: movies on the giant screen, pool table, card table, Ms. Pac Man (let it warm up, it works), air hockey, video games and of course the swim spa. The skee-ball is missing the electronics and the pinball costs 50 cents/play. Come on down and enjoy the peaceful sound of the river and all the Smokies have to offer. Would definitely stay here again."

  • Stairway to heaven

"Cherokee lodge was absolutely beautiful. It was perfect in every way. It comfortably accomadated our 10 adult guest. The kitchen was great for all our meals, and the dining area was great for meals and conversation. The living area was fantastic with it's abundance of space and seating and gorgeous view of the smokies.the bedrooms were beautiful and spacious, including the bunk rooms. The outdoor fire pit was a lovely area to sit around conversing and to enjoy the beautiful mountains and natural landscaping. We would highly recommend this gorgeous cabin without a doubt. We will definetly, without hesitation return."
