"My family stayed at the cabin for 4 wonderful nights. We woke up on the second morning to a thunderstorm and no power. I called Bob and he was a big help to tell me what was going on. The ride up to the cabin was a bit scary, but it was our fault ( husband didn't listen to directions) so we had taken the long way up. The cabin is everything that it is described and more. The view is amazing! Thank you Bob & Carol for sharing your home with us. Great people to deal with. My husband and I wanted to go back in October but it is booked. Will definitely rent the cabin again."

"My husband and I recently stayed at Bearway to Heaven for 4 nights as our babymoon / first anniversary trip. Despite the extreme cold temperatures that corresponded with our stay, we had a wonderful trip! Everything about the cabin was perfect! We loved how conveniently located it was to everything, while still being secluded up in the mountains. We look forward to visiting again when the weather is warmer and with our new little one in tow! Thanks Glenn and Vickie for a lovely stay!"

"Loved this Cabin! Super Cozy and Clean! Felt privileged to Stay here :) Way up on a hill - no joke :) Best of both worlds - Can hike into Downtown for tourism (approx 15 minutes with a few steep hills) + Lots of Hiking nearby - tons of Wildflowers in April...Breathtaking ...active wildlife: turkeys, lizards, salamanders, butterflies, birds, deer, elk + more. We missed a bear walking behind the cabin by literally 5 minutes, bummer. Cabins next door, but never seen/heard anyone. Safe location. Only recommendation is bring a griddle or skillet if you are a "Foodie", only one 8 inch skillet and 1 small cookie sheet...however definitely not a deal breaker...many more pluses about this cabin! Comfy beds, Lots of clean towels, washer/dryer, Plenty of dishes/utensils, pots, Great water pressure & hot water- not well water as we are used to in MI, Lovely decor, Nice furnishings, Simple check in/out, Easy to find if follow Larry's very explanatory directions ...can not say enough good things. Felt relaxed and at Home. Will be back!!! 5 stars *****"
