"We stayed here Oct 2-5, 2014 and will definitely come back. It is charming and so relaxing. The cabin is roomy and nice. We particularly enjoyed sitting on the back deck in the mornings drinking coffee and looking out at the gorgeous mountain view! If you want to experience the peace and beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains this is the place to be!"

"Our family really enjoyed our stay at this chalet. The view from the deck and hot tub was beautiful. The house was clean and well maintained and spacious enough for our family of four to spread out if we wanted our own space. The area was quiet and offered privacy that one cannot find right in town. We appreciated that we were able to frequent the National Park without having to deal with the busy traffic in Gatlinburg."

"Heavenly view is a very nice place to stay. Views of the Smokey Mountains are just like the pictures. Great deck for meals and great hot tub on the deck to enjoy as well. We have never stayed in a place where there was so much silver ware, plates, glasses and cooking utensils. We had 4 adults and 3 kids 9, 11 and 13. The below bedroom has two queen beds and a futon and an entire family could stay there. There is a nice little golf course right down the hill and you can see part of the course from the deck.
I didn't give this place a fifth star because of a couple of things. First the inside is nice but the outside could use some TLC. Nothing bad at all, but the outside could use some deck work and some wood work on the outside. Our major complaint, and it may sound simple, but I have never stayed in a place where they rationed toilet paper, trash bags and dish towels. Really, we had 7 people and 1/2 roll of TP in each bathroom. What a pain to have to run out and buy TP the first day there and be careful what we threw away. Didn't want to spend a bunch on trash bags. Finally, the upper bed room and mid level bedrooms beds were extremely soft even though there was a foam cover on the mattresses. Really feel like the beds could use some work. A lot of rolling to the middle.
I would stay here again just because of the view and the layout, but feel like the place could use a little work on the items mentioned."

"We recently enjoyed our family spring break vaction in Gatlinburg at Thelma's lovely condo. The location was convenient to downtown but far enough away to avoid crowds. Obviously you're in the mountains so be prepared for some steep walks or take the trolly back from downtown. Lots to do and see in the area both via walking or a drive to the mountains for hiking. The condo was clean, quiet and the balcony was perfect for enjoying a morning coffee and beautiful view of the mtns."
