  • Great Cabin!

"Amy was very friendly and helpful in providing all information we needed about the cabin and check-in. When we arrived the cabin was clean and comfy. It was well-appointed with everything we needed for a pleasant stay. Very homey without being over-decorated. Highly recommended. We will not hesitate to return."

  • Beautiful Location!

"This was a wonderful cabin for our vacation! This year we traveled as a family of 5, 4 adults and 1 toddler. The cabin was perfect, with everything we needed for our stay. It was close to all attractions, and easy to find (GREAT directions from the owners!!) The owners were easy and pleasant to work with and addressed the one small issue we had with an immediate response. All around great experience. The view from the front porch was fantastic!! Thank you Steven and Cindy!"

  • Happy with Christmas Gift

"My friend and I decided we wanted to give our families a trip to Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge for Christmas last year. So after considerable searching for the perfect cabin, we decided on the High Places Retreats "Open House". I just have to say it turned out to be a great choice for the 14 of us!! We range in age from 22 months to 80 years and all of us were very comfortable here. The kids and "kids at heart" loved playing pool and foosball, and those who wanted to relax did exactly that in the rockers and hot tub on the porches. We had plenty of room to sit down and eat our meals, and privacy enough to turn in early at night or stay up late thanks to the three levels of bedrooms and two living areas. Delicious smores were enjoyed by all at the gazebo with fire pit one evening. We even had a "Black Bear" experience during our stay! The cabin is close to Dollywood in Pigeon Forge as well as Gatlinburg, so it was conveniently located to many places we wanted to visit. Thanks for sharing your cabin with all of us!"

  • Wonderful cabin in an ideal location!

"I took a youth group to Gatlinburg this past week and we stayed at "Hibernation Station". Let me start by saying that dealing with the owners was a pure pleasure. They did everything in their power to make our stay wonderful, and that is just what it was. The setting is shear beauty. The view from every side is amazing. The cabin is well appointed and sleeps everyone very well (we had 10 in all). The trip into Gatlinburg from the cabin is quick and you are right there in the action, but when you head back for the evening, you are in a place a solitude. It was a great experience and we would gladly stay again!"
