Beautiful....cozy storybook cottage
"Me and my husband are in LOVE with this cottage....it was our 15 year anniversary and we have been coming to Gatlinburg together every year and this by far was the best place we have stayed...VERY CLEAN...we loved sitting by the fire outside listening to the river. Loved waking up to the beautiful view of the trees and river...the bed was sooo comfy. Loved the Hot Tub too. This was the most relaxed and enjoyable vacation we have had in a long time...beautiful walks down the street and also a great location...we are gonna try to come back this fall...this will always be where we stay from now on...thanks for sharing your beautiful home with us👍😊"

"We booked this cabin a while back for my special needs kids' 16th birthday. It was one of the few cabins that we could utilize since it had no stairs at a reasonable cost. As the time approached, we were not sure we would make it given that my dad was very ill and spent almost a whole month in the hospital. Thankfully we were able to go and enjoy ourselves. The cabin had balloons a little cake waiting for us that we paid for in advance. It was very convenient for us. And when we didn't have linens for the pull out sofa bed, they were brought almost immediately upon us emailing Charlene and Bruce. The cabin is very small but very cute and had everything we needed. We really enjoyed our stay. We utilized the grill and the hot tub. We attempted to utilize the jacuzzi tub but never really could figure that out. It took forever to fill it up halfway and then noticed that it wasn't clean, so we just went back to the hot tub! (Better anyway) There is no wifi, for anyone who needs it, which was not a big deal for us when we booked the cabin and then realized last second that we needed it so I could do homework that I wasn't able to do ahead of time. So, if that is important, keep that in mind. The drive up to the cabin isn't bad, even though there are some really narrow roads. But, over all we enjoyed our stay immensely and appreciated the owners for being understanding when we were not sure if we would be able to make it. And loved the little candles and candies and coffee provided. We were extremely comfortable! Thankfully, we were able to go and enjoyed our time. We would definitely recommend to others."

"My husband, daughter and I, along with our two small furry family members just returned from a relaxing week at Kickerback Kottage. The home is very clean and inviting and has everything you need for your home away from home. The home is in a great location - amidst nature yet near town - with a traffic light to boot. We were thrilled to learn the "back way" to get to the Gatlinburg Bypass - saved a lot of time considering traffic this time of year. Mike & Sue provide a lot of helpful information and obviously take great pride in their home. We would recommend Kickerback Kottage for your Gatlinburg getaway."

"First of all let me start by saying that from beginning to end my experience with Home Away was wonderful. This cabin was not only easy to book but any and all questions that I had were answered promptly. The cabin was in excellent condition. In all three of the bathrooms we found clean towels and washcloths. The bathrooms, bedrooms and kitchen were all immaculate. The kitchen had most of what we (9 men) needed by way of utensils, pots and pans and dishes . That was impressive. The cabin provided an iron and an ironing board, televisions in every room and two outside charcoal grills. The upstairs main bedroom was huge and featured an outside balcony, king sized bed, large separate adjoining bathroom with a bedet. The two rooms on the main floor had full beds , however those rooms would only really support one full grown person. It would be cozy for a couple and more than adequate for one or two kids. The downstairs bedroom features a bed and a pull out futon. It supported three men easily. Overall the cabin was spacious however personally speaking it didn't sleep nine people very well. In addition, the pool table and air hockey table are not up to par. The pool table is shaky and is perched in an area where you have no room to extend a pool stick. If playing pool and air hockey is not a premium and you are not trying to accommodate nine single men , this is the cabin for you."
