  • Amazing views

"This cabin is very nice with amazing views of the distant mountain ranges looking south. If you want seclusion this is the place to stay. Unfortunately the bed in the downstairs bedroom was not very comfortable and the sheets came off many times. There is also a limitation on how low you can set the A/C thermostat (70 degrees) making it a little uncomfortable at night until the cabin cools. Make sure you bring bath soap for showering and dishwasher detergent as none is supplied. The drive up the mountain is steep but paved and would be difficult in the snow/ice without chains. The cabin is about 20 minutes from Gatlinburg."

  • Private but close to everything

"This is a wonderful place to stay and is very well appointed. You are in a quiet area, but still only 10 minutes to downtown Gatlinburg. Cades Cove is a must and so is the Roaring Forks Motor trail where we got to see some bears, including a momma and two babies! The drive over the mountain to Cherokee was wonderful with lots of pull-offs and overlooks. You may also get to see the elk at the Oconaluftee Visitor's Center. Overall, this was a great vacation, but they are never long enough!"

  • Relaxation and solitude

"My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Nature's Romance. From the moment we stepped foot into the beautiful property we felt completely subdued in nature. The hot tub was one of our favorite features. Jill was very easy to work with and quite accommodating. I highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway."
