Great Place for a Family
"We recently rented Bears Hearth for a family vacation. This is the first time that my siblings and I have taken a trip with all of our families together and our father was able to go with us. In total there were 6 adults and 7 kids ranging in age of 11 months to 13. The layout of this house was perfect. Since there are 2 bedrooms and a full bath downstairs we put all of the kids downstairs to have that space as their own. While the kids were downstairs playing the adults could sit around the table talking and playing games. The kids were a little disappointed that they did not get to see a bear but they had a lot of fun just getting to play with their cousins and have lots of time with pawpaw. We will certainly plan another trip back to Bears Hearth in the future."

"We stayed here Oct 2-5, 2014 and will definitely come back. It is charming and so relaxing. The cabin is roomy and nice. We particularly enjoyed sitting on the back deck in the mornings drinking coffee and looking out at the gorgeous mountain view! If you want to experience the peace and beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains this is the place to be!"

"Fun house! Love the game room, the hot tub the kids loved and we used the grill and kitchen and every inch of the house and really, really enjoyed it. Area is congested during spring break but the community adapts well to crowds. Hikes were crowded but not so bad that anyone hindered your hike, wait times weren't too long at aquarium and other attractions. The house was a great way to unwind after busy days and the grocery store was on the way out of town from the hustle bustle of downtown Gatlinburg. We zip lined at Climbworks...absolute highlight of our trip. Expensive but 1000% worth it!"

"The cabin was small and perfect for my husband and I for a quick getaway. The cabin is located off of a main highway so when you are in the hot tub you can hear traffic whizzing by. It is not too far from the Greenbrier Park entrance, which was convenient because we wanted to go hiking. Also, close to Gatlinburg if you wanted to drive into town for dinner. We would definitely return, especially for an extended weekend. Highly recommend!"
