Secluded property, but still close to everything
"I just wanted to say thank you to the Lacy's we had a great time in Tennessee and their home in a great location. We were there for my son's baseball tournament in town and then stayed for a vacation after. With three adults, two teenagers and three dogs, we had plenty of space.
The kids really enjoyed the pool table and the video games on the few days we had that it rained. I was really glad there was something for them to keep occupied! And I loved that I could put the dogs out in the yard and not worry about them. I even brought portable dog gates to block off the porch when we sat out there every morning so the dogs could be with us. It was so convenient!!
We had an easy time getting everywhere we needed to go with out having to be on the busy parkway every time. Only 10-15 to grocery store or downtown Gatlinburg.
We will definitely book again when we come back!"

"It was my first trip to the mountain and our first trip as a couple and it was great. FOLLOW HER DIRECTIONS because I didn't and we were briefly turned around but it was perfect. It was really well stocked with REAL pots and pans and so many kitchen utensils and plates. It was extremely quiet and secluded but probably 10 minutes away from the Food City. We will definitely be returning in fact we were trying to book again for next month to enjoy the fall tree foliage and it was already rented for our requested dates. There is an electric grill (not charcoal) that worked great. We didn't utilize the fireplace but it looked functional. We heard other people and a dog for roughly 5 minutes over the entire weekend but never saw anyone. The jukebox plays CDS and there is CD storage in the drawer of the jukebox. I figured that out late but if was cute and I was nostalgic for the old jukebox music but happy that it could play some newer stuff. I am a clean freak. The is not a speck of dust or grime in this cabin and I looked. The cleaning person should be commended. The couches were comfortable, the floors were clean and it was well insulated. We never touched the thermostat and only utilized the fans and we still needed blankets throughout the day. I could not have asked for a better experience with absolutely no issues. It will always be a cabin that I recommend to anyone and everyone who asks. We will be back."

"We had nine people in our group for this stay at the King of the Mountain. We had plenty of beds to sleep in, tons of space, and the views were spectacular. Checking in and out was a breeze, and the cabin itself has everything you could need: a big kitchen, tons of seating space, HD televisions, internet, etc.
We couldn't have been happier with our stay, thanks, Susan!!!"
