  • All we had hoped for!

"My wife and I wanted to return to the area where we honeymooned 34 years ago to celebrate our anniversary. We wanted a "cabin in the mountains" but also had some "high standards" as far as facility, cleanliness, ammenities and etc. WE WERE NOT LET DOWN WITH ALPINE ROSE!! In fact, it exceeded our expectations. Amy (the manager) was fantastic to work with from inquiry to check in to follow up and we appreciated that so much. This was our first experience with VRBO and we were a bit skeptical. Amy, you put our minds at ease. This cabin is impeccably maintained and so clean. The hot tub off the bedroom was a welcome site after miles of hiking in the mountains! The front porch was our favorite place to be with a hot cup of coffee every morning and a cold drink watching the sunset in the evenings. The proximity of Alpine Rose to the surrounding area is perfect. You have a feeling of being away from it all but are only a few short miles to restaurants, attractions and the Smoky Mountains! We HIGHLY recommend this cabin to a couple for any kind of getaway with style!! We also appreciated the ability to bring our dog with us!!"

  • Family reunion

"We had a group of 17 family members from age 2 to 85 and the house was fantastic. There was plenty of room in the common areas to enjoy each other without being crowded. The kitchen was well equipped and could comfortably hold multiple cooks. The table and the view from it were fantastic. We enjoyed seeing wild turkeys and a black bear from the deck. The bedrooms and baths were nice. The upstairs baths were a little tight for the taller family members and the upstairs water pressure was a little low. We were close enough to town it was quick and easy to take advantage of all the area has to offer. We would highly recommend the cabin."

  • Great cabin

"My family stayed at the cabin for 4 wonderful nights. We woke up on the second morning to a thunderstorm and no power. I called Bob and he was a big help to tell me what was going on. The ride up to the cabin was a bit scary, but it was our fault ( husband didn't listen to directions) so we had taken the long way up. The cabin is everything that it is described and more. The view is amazing! Thank you Bob & Carol for sharing your home with us. Great people to deal with. My husband and I wanted to go back in October but it is booked. Will definitely rent the cabin again."

  • dream catcher

"We had a great time at this cabin. The cabin is a beautiful wood cabin nestled on the mountain. It is convenient to get to gatlinburg or pigeon forge...we found pigeon forge to be the easiest. The cabin is decorated with rustic items that help you get into the mountain spirit. The owner Craig was very helpful and easy to contact before and during our stay. My family will be back to stay here again."
