  • Vacation within a vacation

"This cabin is wonderful! Our family enjoyed every minute. It's close enough to all the fun of Gatlinburg, but far enough away that you really get to have a vacation within a vacation. Our favorite part of the whole trip was just sitting outside and taking in the gorgeous views. The cabin is well-equipped and very charming. We loved cooking out, roasting marshmallows & playing horseshoes. I'd recommend this piece of Heaven to anyone! "

  • Great house for big groups!!!

"We spent the week after Christmas in this house with our extended family (4 families). We had 8 adults and 8 kids ages 4-15 and 2 dogs and there was plenty of room for all of us. It never felt cramped or like you couldn't relax. The views were amazing, the house was clean, the beds were comfortable. There are plenty of spaces to sit, relax and get away. The fireplace and hot tub were enjoyed by all and the game room was 1 of our favorite features! The kids played down there all week and at night, after the kids went to bed, the adult guys took over and played pool each night. The décor was fun (those stuffed heads you see in the pictures are stuffed animals). We were happy to stay in a place where we could spend days at the house and enjoy our vacation and not always feel like we needed to be in the hustle of all the tourists in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. If you are looking for a showpiece house with granite countertops and expensive décor then this is NOT the right house for you but if you are looking for a "home" for vacation you couldn't ask for more. All of us felt that this was a great house for a large group. If we come visit Gatlinburg we wouldn't hesitate to rent this house again!"

  • Serenity lived up to its name!

"This condo had everything we wanted and more. Although the winding road may be a bit daunting at first, by the 2nd day, we didn't have any worries! The view simply cannot be beat from the private balcony - it was the perfect place to enjoy coffee (and sunrise) in the morning and then return to watch the fireflies arrive just before the Dollywood fireworks finale at night (yes - we could see them perfectly every night!). The girls loved having their own space in the loft and the selection of DVDs and games. Thank you so much for your attention to detail in the condo. The kitchen was well-appointed and had everything we needed. We found the laundry room located on the 2nd floor of the unit. It has 1 washer/dryer, but we always found it available in the evening. Just don't forget to have quarters - there's not a place to make change (washer is $1.75 and dryer is $1.25). We would not hesitate to stay here on our next visit and would recommend to all of our family and friends. Best wishes and thanks again!"

  • Good rustic cabin

"We enjoyed our stay for President's Day weekend. There was plenty of snow on the ground when we got to the cabin, so our kids had a blast tubing down the steep driveway. The cabin has 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms and suited our family just fine. The washer and dryer came in very handy. The beds were very comfortable, and the hot tub on the deck was great after a long day of skiing and snowboarding at Ober Gatlinburg. The property was far enough removed from town to have a quiet retreat, but close enough to enjoy the sights and adventures of Gatlinburg. There is also a supermarket a few short minutes from the property when we needed any supplies. The only reason I didn't give a 5 star rating is because the cleanliness needs to be improved. We found several dirty dishes in the cabinets, and the floors were pretty dirty. Those really aren't huge problems. Finding a quilt on the upstairs bed with blood spots on it was a big problem for me. That tells me the blankets/quilts aren't washed on a regular basis. According to the calendar, the cabin was not rented several days prior to our arrival so there was plenty of opportunity to make sure everything was good and clean. I don't relish idea of putting this in a review, but I do feel it needs to be addressed. Overall, our stay was a good one."
