  • Great Vacation

"Went to this great cabin for a full week's vacation. This time of year the weather was a bit rainy, but it didn't make any difference to us. The cabin and hot tub were excellent. Downtown is very close, and not very busy this time of year which made shopping very easy. We hiked up to Rainbow Falls and drove the Cades Cove loop. Great times and you actually see more without the leaves on the trees. Easy to save some money by fixing breakfasts at "home" then eating while we were on the town. Best off, my son asked his girlfriend to marry him while we were at the top of Rainbow Falls. What a week to remember! One of the most relaxing vacations my family has had. Great location and great cabin. Thanks for the use and the memories. Definitely worth going back! Likely now with the "in-laws". Plenty of room for all of them to join us next year."

  • Close, but secluded!

"My family (my husband, sons-7 and 4 years old-and I) LOVED the Sugar Shack! It was close enough to the parkway and Park that it made getting out and exploring easy...it made getting home and relaxing on the beautiful deck even easier! We didn't cook much (except to use the toaster and microwave) but it is set up nicely (still bummed we never barbecued, but we wanted to try the local restaurants!). Thanks for sharing your great property with my family! We had a great time!"

  • Cozy Cabin

"Very cozy cabin sitting on Cosby Creek, great views in a quiet neighborhood. We stayed here for four nights and enjoyed our stay very much. The porch creek side was peaceful even though there are neighbors, we never heard anything out of them. The hot tub on the bottom level gives you a view of the creek to enjoy. The only complaint was the bed in the loft which had a huge dip in it and was rather noisy. If the loft bed was fixed we would definitely stay again. A 30 minute drive to Gatlinburg with cute local restaurants near by."
