"This cabin is in a beautiful location, quiet, fairly private (a few cabins close by, but lots of tree coverage so it's no big deal. The owner was great about letting us bring our dog, who is over 25 lbs (that seems to be the limit for many of these cabins). The house was clean, the bed was comfy. The spiral staircase is difficult with a dog...but there are 2 entrances to the cabin so we figured it out. And it is SO close to the national park!
Ok, the big issue I'm alluding to is that there is no local phone except for 911. We had an issue and had to go to a neighbors cabin to use their phone. Luckily they were home! It is literally the only cabin I saw on VRBO without a local phone, and our cell phones don't work there. But the good news is that is a quick, cheap fix for the owners to add that. It is really necessary for a lot of reasons, and I know Becky will take care of it :)"

"Our stay at your cabin was awesome. We had 6 couples getting together for the UT vs KY football game in Knoxville. The entire group enjoyed our short time there. We're all trying to find another date to come back to The Bear's Den for a longer stay. One drawback was difficulty with the gas fireplace not starting for us, but your staff quickly responded and got it working. However, it would not restart when we returned from the football game and it was late so we decided to carry on without the fireplace. Didn't hinder our stay at all - we shall return!"
