"We booked this at the last minute for a quick get away before we dropped our daughter off at Virginia Tech. It was a great house to spread out in, 3 teenagers and they all had their own room. the fooseball was a hit! The private cove was a relaxing spot to read and enjoy a glass of wine. The only things you need is a bathing suit and some food. the house was equip with whatever we needed to cook a couple of meals.
we walked around Bristol, antique shopped, Hiked at the Channels, kayaked down the Holston River, biked the Creeper trail, and rented a Pontoon and explored the lake. It was so convenient to doc the boat at the house for a quick lunch! We went to the Farmer's market in Abingdon and got some veggies and awesome bread! Lots to see and do!! This was a good basecamp location
Great way to cap off the summer and regroup for another school year! Bernard was great to work !!!"

"OMG!!!!! This place was awesome. There was 13 of us, ages from 65 to 14 months old. Every bedroom was great. King size beds with king size pillows. Private bathrooms for each one. There were enough towels in each one, also supplied with toilet paper and small soaps to get you started. Kitchen was nice was enough room for 3 or 4 people to be in there at the same time. Cookware was perfect. It had everything we needed. I mean everything we needed even a crock pot. The kids loved the game room. They had to be told to go to bed. Hot tub was nice!!!!! It was clean and worked perfectly. Deck was very large. Nice outside table and 4 chairs. 2 wooden rockers where my husband stayed most the time. Several outside chairs by the hot tub. Living room was very large and accommodate this large drop. The Welcome Center is right there on street you go up. Stop there get information. Trolley is also there. Good idea to use it. Parking is from $6.00 to $10.00. That's a little high. I must say that none of us wanted to leave. JAMIE WAS AWESOME!!!!!! This lady goes overboard to make your stay here is the best. I had communication with her at all times and response time is great. THANK YOU JAMIE YOU ARE AWESOME.!!!!!!😀😀😀😀😀 I do need to add that we were there only 20 minutes and there was a bear in the driveway to cool🐹🐹🐹🐹. As for the driveway, well we gat a lot of laughs from driving up and down. Very steep but was blacktop very nice. PLEASE STAY HERE YOU WILL LOVE IT.😍😍😍"

"I booked this cabin as a birthday surprise for my boyfriend and I. Bev went above and beyond to make our stay as wonderful, relaxing, and personal as possible. She and I coordinated to have a personalized birthday cake, and local beer waiting for my boyfriend and I upon our arrival! My boyfriend was thrilled with the surprise and the amazing layout of the cabin. The gas-lit fire place, romantic jet tub, and back porch Jacuzzi were the main highlights of our stay at the Snuggle Bug. We especially enjoyed the small, stone water fall above the jet tub! Curling up by the fire, with a bottle of wine, and each other for company, it was by far the most romantic weekend we've ever had! We enjoyed a birthday dinner at The Park Grill on Bev's recommendation. I can't wait to return, hopefully in the spring!"
