  • Great cabin

"Stayed at Mayberry Morning. What a wonderful cabin and the views were spectacular! It was a family vacation with our 4 adult children and 2 grandchildren. There was plenty of room for everyone! The ride to the parkway was not far, but where the cabin is located, made it seem as if you were secluded deep in the woods. Only thing I noticed was that maybe the comforters needed to be washed. But other than that it is a beautiful cabin. The whole family loved it and was very impressed!!"

  • Perfect Cabin for the Perfect Weekend

"Let me start with thanking everyone for the excellent reviews. It was easy to make a determination based on your experiences. You did not disappoint. First, the location of the cabin was perfect. We did not have to fight the traffic or pedestrians into or through Gatlinburg. Checking in was easy and fast, Mountain Shadows has this task down pat. We were in and out in 5 minutes. The cabin was easy to find and parking was ample. The cleaning service that is used did a great job, the cabin was spotless. We enjoyed the Jacuzzi and pool table. Watching the Alabama game was made more enjoyable with the large HDTV. The kitchen has everything you need to eat in or the cabin is 5 minutes from 3 great restaurants. We did not use the pool but it is right out the front door and across the street, a 90 second walk. I would highly recommend "Bear Necessities" for a weekend get away or a week long stay."

  • Great Getaway!!!

"Great getaway. Had a long weekend and really enjoyed our time. Private location in a quiet part of the Smokies, but close enough to go shopping in Sevierville or to run up to Gatlinburg for the afternoon. Really enjoyed morning coffee on the front porch and the mountains awoke. Very restful and quiet. Great location."

We were there in Oct. 2013 and returned this year. We hope to return again someday. Thanks Roger so much for sharing your lovely home with us."
