"My mother and I spent the weekend at the cabin. It was exactly as described and very comfortable. We enjoyed sitting at the kitchen table watching the creek and seeing the squirrels play. The beds were comfortable and the cabin was very clean. I do recommend watching the video for parking (I didn't) and my first time was a little tricky. Thank you for sharing your home with us. Memories were made that can never be replaced."

"Cutting Corners is an excellent cabin to stay in while visiting the smoky mountains. When you walk into the cabin, you will be amazed at how spacious and clean the cabin is as well as tastefully decorated. My family and I are very picky, lol and this cabin met all of our expectations and standards! This cabin was super clean which is a plus and had nice high end furniture and the spiral stair case was beautiful. I like that the cabin was easy to get to and you did not have to drive up steep mountain roads to get to it. It was tucked away in the mountains but yet only a short 5 to 10 minute drive to the main strip (Parkway) in Pigeon Forge. The pool at the resort was very fun for the kids as well. The cabin had amazing views and the beds were very comfy. All the rooms had flat screen TV's with cable and the wifi was pretty fast. The only thing I would suggest would be to have more trash cans in the actual bedrooms and not just in the bathrooms. This wasn't a big deal and we just used plastic bags to collect our trash. Vickie is very nice and great to work with. She responds to emails very quickly. Overall cutting corners made our trip very memorable and I would highly recommend that people check this cabin out. You will not be disappointed! My family can't wait to come back and visit again!"

"I really appreciated the VRBO reviews in deciding where to stay and this condo is everything the awesome reviews said it would be. Verlon is very quick to respond via text or email. The condo is probably one of the cleanest I have ever stayed in. My kids loved the bunk beds! The location is just off the parkway and close to plenty of restaurants and a Wal-Mart. Everything we wanted to do was very close. Staying here was an excellent experience all the way around.
Though it doesn't have much to do with the condo I was disappointed in the pitiful Dunkin Donuts that I so looked forward to visiting on our trip because it was so close. The Trip Advisor reviews gave it only one out of five stars and I never event went. You could clearly see that the place wasn't well cared for because the grass, bushes and weeds around the building hadn't received attention for some time. I chose not to waste my time or money there when Krispy Kreme was not too far down the road.
I would not hesitate to stay here again and I can assure you if you stay you will not regret it! We can't wait to come back!"

"This home worked out perfect for taking our adult children and one grandchild. The first evening we were treated to seeing a mama bear and her very small cub, they stayed about five minutes before heading off down the mountain. The fireworks at 9:30 are amazing; I doubt you would have a better view unless you there. The inside needs a bit updating, the outside had just been resided and the paint was fresh on the decks and outside exposure. This tells me that it will only be a matter of time before the owners get started on the inside. The pool and tennis courts are within walking distance and it a relatively "flat" walk if there is such a thing being on a mountain. we would consider this home again for our annual vacation into the Gatlinburg area."
