"We had a group of 12 that came in for the youth conference for the weekend and I am totally amazed at the room in this cabin. We all had a great time and everyone had their own bed to sleep in. We were all comfortable with plenty of room to spare. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were very big. The kitchen was amazing with everything we needed to make breakfast lunch and dinner. The kids had a great time with the pool table. The living room had tons of room for us to all sit down and watch tv. The hot tub looked very nice but we didnt get to enjoy it because we were so busy at the youth conference we didnt have time to really enjoy it. The cabin is in a great location to Dollywood!!! We are already planning for next year and hope to book this place again. We will be back!!! Darsha is an amazing person and such a blessing, she made checking in and out a breeze. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with us!!! :)"

"We drove from Texas to spend a couple of days hiking in GSMNP. The cabin is just a couple minutes from Pideon Forge which means you are a couple of minutes from everything you need. It was beautiful inside and out. The cabin was clean. The kids loved the air hockey and the pool table. The hot tub was clean and hot, two pluses. There is seating for 6 around the dining room table, not the 4 that is pictured on the webpage. There is plenty of seating for relaxing at the end of a long day of hiking. The bedding was comfortable and it was nice to be able to do a load of laundry before the long drive home.
There are a few reasons that I only give this 4 stars. The first being the kitchen. It is small, which is doable, but it is not stocked for much more than boiling water. We have 4 young kids so the last thing we want when they are all tired from hiking, is to try and wrangle them at a restaurant. So if you like to prepare your own meals while on vacation, or plan on entertaining a few people, you better bring your own equipment. There are very few pans. No spices at all. And there is no sponge/scrubber if you need to was something by hand. The second is the lack of window coverings. This is a plus during the day to allow you to enjoy the amazing views. But if you like it dark in the morning while you sleep, you won't get that here. When it gets light outside, it is light inside. You might need an eye mask if you want to sleep in and you can't handle light. Also, the TV in the main living area downstairs couldn't get a signal from the dish. But we were mostly upstairs so it wasn't a big deal.
We loved our visit to the area. If you are like most travelers and plan on eating out every meal, and you don't mind some light in the mornings, this is a five star stay. But even with those I give this 4 Stars."

"My family and I had an amazing Smokey Mountain vacation thanks to our beautiful accomodations at Chalet Mignon II. There was more than enough room for 9 adults and 4 children, with each family having their own space. The 3 levels of porch/deck provided an amazing view, perfect for gathering as a group or spending some "alone" time. My son was hoping to see a bear, which we didn't, but we did have a visit from a raccoon that everyone enjoyed.
The cabin was very clean and had everything (except for groceries) that we needed for our 6 night stay. I would love to stay in Chalet Mignon in the fall - the view would be spectacular!"
