  • Perfect view, perfect location, great unit!

"This is our second year renting this beautiful condo. Clean, well furnished and equipped. Great views of both the marina and the pool--plus the main floor entry from the parking lot make this one of (if the the best) units in the complex in our opinion. Elevators make it easy to get down to the path to the marina and boat docks. You can also enjoy the live music from the marina on Saturday nights from the balcony. The owners are very friendly and professional--making booking very easy. We hope to rent for a third year next summer. Thanks for a great vacation!"

  • Luxurious Lake stay

"My family spent an extended weekend with another family in this spacious and beautifully decorated condo on Lake Norris. In the Penthouse, each room is gorgeous in its own right...and so pristinely kept that it's hard to believe it is a rental. We enjoyed the view of the lake from the deck...cooked out on the grill 2 of the evenings and started the day with coffee and watching the sunrise. Even though we did not have a boat, we had no trouble renting one for the day at a nearby marina. We were fortunate with great weather, but had a rain plan to head into Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg which is only an hour away. The kids loved the pool and the adults loved the hot tub! Jack and Linda were really great to work with and they had thought of everything to make things run smoothly for us while on vacation. A small delight was the dolly awaiting us when we had to load and unload the car with the many little "essentials" we had brought along for a family of 5. Between the dolly and the elevator, moving into and out of the top floor was a breeze! We will definitely be back next summer, though I am sure it must be beautiful in the Fall too! Amy and Bill"

  • Wonderful Time!!

"The house is a charming older home that has great flow that works out wonderfully when having to entertain a larger crowd! We had such a great time here, my husband and I and 3 teenagers spent a week here and we all had so much fun, the kids kept themselves entertained by spending most of their time in the paddle boat which was provided by the owners and blow up rafts that were mostly kept tied up to the sides of the dock. The views of the lake were amazing from the large deck and dock! The wooded property is beautiful, we saw a large deer that would walk by daily and a pretty big sized turtle that lives in the back yard! The lake cove for this home is quiet and peaceful, without heavy traffic from boaters and other swimmers and didn't hear a peep from the neighbors except for a friendly hello every now and then. I just cant say enough about The Wood Duck was lovely, peaceful, clean and we came away with precious memories that will be cherished always!! :) You won't be disappointed, I promise!"

"This place was so nice, I think we'll be together another 50 years. Everything was there that we needed. We had some sixty guests for the party with plenty of room to move around, go outside, wrap around porch, 5 bathrooms. Everyone was awed with the place on the Clinch River with beautiful sunsets, fog on the river and lots of humming birds. The back yard was amazingly beautiful with concrete for dancing, a fire pit for the night, a place to put our anniversary cake, outside plugs for our amplifier and two bathrooms in the downstairs bedrooms. The cabin was close to shopping and restaurants, horse trails, Norris Dam, Museum of Appalachia. And if you need a ramp for the disabled, call Amramp of East Tennessee. Nothing is attached to the cabin. This is an amazing place! I keep reliving our week there over and over."
