Beautiful House On The Lake
"This was our first visit to Norris Lake and we loved it. The house was beautiful and very clean. The furnishings were up-scale, the kitchen was huge and had everything you could ever need. We had 13 people on the weekend and the eat-at bar and large dining table accommodated all of us. The master suite and bedrooms were very nice and the bunk room was a hit with kids and adults alike (We had ping pong tournaments every night.). The outside decks were huge and we sat outside at the 2 umbrella tables most of the time when not down at the dock.
Everyone loved the 2 level dock. The kids loved jumping off the upper level into the lake. It had lots of chairs and lounges. The bottom level had a table and chairs. We spent most of our time down at the dock. The cove was private enough to swim safely but also close to the lake where you could ski and tube.
The concrete path was somewhat steep. We rented a golf cart to haul our coolers and the older family members. We would recommend a gas powered golf cart as it seemed to have more power going up the hill.
The owner was very friendly and helpful. His response to questions was very prompt. The information packet he provided about the area was most helpful (We went to McCloud Mountain Restaurant and the view was incredible.). We could not have asked for a better experience."

"My group has rented from Norris Lake Villas and stayed in their properties for every Memorial Day Weekend for six years in a row. Our experience gets better and better every year. From the moment you arrive you are instantly relaxed. The properties are fantastic shape and are a better value than what you receive with other rentals in the area. The commute is right off the main road and it is easy to arrive. The property is set up for fun. They thought of everything from the surround system to the docks on the water. If you have a big group or its just your family this property is for you."

"The stay here was most welcomed! Upon arrival there were homemade brownies on the table and items to make s'mores with. There is a nice fire pit outside that we used with benches around it that we did indeed make s'mores. The price is very reasonable but you get a whole lot more than you pay for. All the amenities you can dream of. The owners are some of the nicest people I have ever met! God bless them both! We will be staying here again!"

"Our family and close friends just completed our stay at the Big Dipper and the accommodations were ideal. The view from the kitchen, onto the lake, is the best in the cove and the layout was perfect as each family had their own floor. The kitchen was spectacular with two dishwashers and a dining table big enough to accommodate 20 people. The three refrigerators came in handy as did the full-size washer and dryer.
We rented two boats and two wave runners and the dock was perfect with two covered spots for the boats and two floating platforms to park the wave runners. The jacuzzi was very nice after a full day on the lake and the game room kept the kids occupied. The house has NO shortage of TV’s and everyone had there own bed which is difficult to find when housing 12-15 people.
Access to the jumping bridge, proximity to Sugar Hollow Marina and Shanghai Marina made for added convenience. Although secluded and private, the gated community is close to town where we were able to shop for groceries and daily essentials. The owner was great to work with and was very accommodating. In addition to the great memories, we spent valuable time together with our friends and family which made for the perfect get-a-way. We are already talking about our next trip."
