  • Family Fun on the Water

"This was our first time on a Lake Vacation and it couldn't have been better. As You Wish house had everything we could have asked for. There were 22 of us from age 15 to 92. The only difficulty was having 6 -7 adults in the bunk rooms with very little space for clothes, but we managed. The lake was amazing and every day a new adventure took place as the shoreline was explored. Yes the driveway was very steep and the morning "runners" found it very challenging to take their morning run."

  • "Ray's Place" Beautiful home on a beautiful lake

"Just spent 3 glorious days at Ray's Place with my family. House was beautifully decorated, had a great lay-out, and was nicely equipped. The views from the decks were gorgeous and the lake was clear and the most beautiful shade of aqua. We would love to go back."

  • Teacher from East Tenn

"My family and I had an absolutely peaceful and relaxing time at the Erickson house. The view from every bedroom of Norris lake is like heaven. At night it was so serene. If you like sunsets this is the place to be. It is VERY spacious and comfortable both upstairs and downstairs. Fully equipped with just about everything you need away from home. The deer are special residents all over the area, so don't be surprised if you see them outside in the yard. We had a ball watching them. There is a dock you can fish on or tie your boat to or just take advantage of the view from there. It was so nice. Overall, I personally found this place to be a refuge from the stress of teaching other peoples children who I dearly love. I was able to rest and relax in a comfortable home and take in an abundance of Gods' handiwork. I recommend this place for a great getaway. You'll be back. We will."

La Follette Vacation Rentals: The Great Outdoors Meets Old-Fashioned Charm

Although you may not be familiar with La Follette, Tennessee, this city in Campbell County provides a lovely setting to enjoy the great outdoors. With mountains, trees, and a lake, La Follette has plenty to offer vacationers. Located north of Knoxville in Eastern Tennessee, La Follette is the birthplace of musician Howard (Louie Bluie) Armstrong. Today it is known for its old-fashioned small town charm and charisma. The beautiful Cumberland Mountains are a backdrop for the town, while Norris Lake boasts a wide variety of La Follette lake homes and cabins.

Enjoying La Follette Activities

If you are into golfing, while in La Follette make sure to check out the Greens at Deerfield—an 18-hole championship golf course located on near La Follette lake homes. There you will find luxurious, well-kept greens. Enjoy lunch at Deerfield Restaurant with breathtaking views of Norris Lake. If you want a more casual dining environment, try Royal Lunch on Tennessee Avenue or Valley Pizza on Myers Lane. There are plenty of restaurants from which to choose, from very casual to more upscale. And if you're looking for a picnic location, check out the Campbell County Park just south of La Follette. Whatever you decide to do, enjoy the charm this small town has to offer!

Norris Lake Cabins Provide Access to the Outdoors

Norris Lake cabins and La Follette lake homes are a great way to position yourself near the natural beauty that surrounds you. From your La Follette vacation rental, simply step out into the outdoors and the nearby Cumberland Mountains for a nature walk or choose a more strenuous hike. Also, enjoy the water at Lake Norris by going boating, kayaking or just taking a dip in the refreshing water. The beautiful countryside is a great way to relax and unwind.
