  • Family Fun on the Water

"This was our first time on a Lake Vacation and it couldn't have been better. As You Wish house had everything we could have asked for. There were 22 of us from age 15 to 92. The only difficulty was having 6 -7 adults in the bunk rooms with very little space for clothes, but we managed. The lake was amazing and every day a new adventure took place as the shoreline was explored. Yes the driveway was very steep and the morning "runners" found it very challenging to take their morning run."

  • Couldn't have asked for more.

"Our planned fall break camping trip was a total washout. I had to find a dry alternative for 4 adults, 1 sullen teenager and 5 elementary aged children with little notice. Ted was awesome to work with. The house was amazing. The bunk room was perfect for the little kids. The game room and screening room kept everyone entertained (while it poured rain). When it was clear it was nice to fish a little from the dock. The location on the ridge makes walking down to and up from the dock a fitness opportunity (read not for the elderly or infirm). All and all a great fall break even with the constant threat of flooding (so happy we weren't in a tent)! We will be back."

  • Family Outing

"This home is excellent for a family outing. The three master bedrooms are excellent. The fourth bedroom was great for the 4 children. Be sure to take extra coat hangers for the closets. Overall an excellent rental."

La Follette Vacation Rentals: The Great Outdoors Meets Old-Fashioned Charm

Although you may not be familiar with La Follette, Tennessee, this city in Campbell County provides a lovely setting to enjoy the great outdoors. With mountains, trees, and a lake, La Follette has plenty to offer vacationers. Located north of Knoxville in Eastern Tennessee, La Follette is the birthplace of musician Howard (Louie Bluie) Armstrong. Today it is known for its old-fashioned small town charm and charisma. The beautiful Cumberland Mountains are a backdrop for the town, while Norris Lake boasts a wide variety of La Follette lake homes and cabins.

Enjoying La Follette Activities

If you are into golfing, while in La Follette make sure to check out the Greens at Deerfield—an 18-hole championship golf course located on near La Follette lake homes. There you will find luxurious, well-kept greens. Enjoy lunch at Deerfield Restaurant with breathtaking views of Norris Lake. If you want a more casual dining environment, try Royal Lunch on Tennessee Avenue or Valley Pizza on Myers Lane. There are plenty of restaurants from which to choose, from very casual to more upscale. And if you're looking for a picnic location, check out the Campbell County Park just south of La Follette.
