"This is an awesome location for those wanting to boat on Lake Norris. There is a boat ramp in close proximity to the home. The boat trailer may be parked at the end of the road, at the top of the drive. The covered dock is great and there is a bar table and chairs that are great for cards and drinks on the water! The home is very nice with a full bathroom for each bedroom! My family and friends loved it. We are already looking to rent again next year! We loved having our morning coffee on the covered porch! Erica and Mike were also great to work with. I would not hesitate to highly recommend this home."

"This was a wonderful Lake house, Beautiful view from both decks, We had 8 adults and 6 young adults, there was plenty of room, Great kitchen to cook large meals, The boat house was the nicest I have ever seen, The lower stone patio down buy the lake was great for hanging out , We had a fire in the pit almost every night, This house is as advertised. The drive is a little step, Cars and trucks no problem, Trailers of any kind are a no."

"We celebrated our 25th anniversary at the house with close friends and family. The house was great and very well appointed. Everybody had a great time. There were a few things that need to be addressed. Some of the bedroom doors did not want to close/lock properly. Also the main grill on the deck off the dining room was literally falling apart. Both grills, the one at the house as well as the one on the dock, were filthy and some of the dock chairs were broken.
Otherwise everything was great. The water was absolutely beautiful. The kitchen had literally every possible gadget including a margarita machine. We would definitely consider doing it again."

"Our family of 28 had a blast at the Big Dipper! Awesome place to stay! The location, tucked back in a beautiful cove was amazing, safe for swimming for all the little kids, great for those relaxing morning cups of coffee on the deck, and dining every night with a view of the water was incredible. We have had a 20 year tradition of big family vacations at the beach, but decided to try the lake and see what it was like...now we have a new tradition! We tubed, skied, fished, paddle boarded, swam, dove off the dock, watched movies, played pool, air hockey, and cards at the gigantic dining table. So much fun!! Boat ramp is four houses down and two marinas are pretty close...just a great location. We had a large group and the sleeping accommodations worked perfectly. Lots of thought went into the planning and furnishing of the Big Dipper...we had more than what we needed. It is super nice, but has a rustic lake house feel that says, just relax. Can't say enough about how helpful the owner John was at answering questions and making sure we had everything we needed...really gracious! You have to check this place out."
