  • Loved Bear Heaven!!!

"This was mine and my husband's first little getaway all by ourselves, even when we went on our honeymoon we took our dog along. We were not disappointed! The cabin was beautiful and so cozy! It looks small from the outside but it is really spacious, plenty of room for two people with everything you want/ need in a vacation rental in the smokies. The cabin was very clean, super comfy bed that we wanted to take home with us and had everything you need to cook meals in the kitchen. Lady bugs kept getting in but that's normal for the time of year with it getting cold out, didn't bother us. It's on Trappers Ridge, off of Wears Valley Rd. and don't be fooled by the two close neighbors, it's totally private and quiet and It was super easy to get to especially If you don't like the crazy mountain roads this is a good place to stay, lol. Kroger and a couple fast food places are just five minutes down the road and you come right out to stop light #3 on the strip. Excellent location! It also only took maybe 15 minutes to get to the Tanger Outlet. Everything was so easy to get to and find from here which really put us at ease. I also have to add that Donna was super nice. I definitely recommend Bear Heaven and would gladly check out their other rentals as well. :)"

  • Never Get Tired of this place, Simply Amazing

"Just got back from Wilderness Ridge again. We have been coming to this cabin for 8 years now and is still as beautiful and well kept as the first time stepping in the front door. Spotless, comfortable and spacious and I'm in awe of the mountain décor in this cabin that sets it apart from all others in the area. Can't wait for the fall so we can return again. We were greeted the first morning with 2 red headed woodpeckers right off the back porch this trip. Cool!!"

  • Dream of a cottage in the Smokies

"We spent 3 nights at Ken's cottage and we had the time of our life! We didn't want to leave this peaceful place (but only 10 min. away from everything). The home had very tasteful Christmas decoration which we all appreciated a lot. Our family of six enjoyed all the space and we loved the fuss-ball in the spacious family room. The kitchen was very well equipped and we daily used the open fire place in the living room. The whole house is very roomy, tasteful, convenient and welcoming. We could not have hoped for a better cottage. Since the access road to the property is extremely steep we would recommend an 4x4 in winter weather. We didn't have snow so it was no problem with our minivan (winter tires). The views are stunning, especially from the windows in the master bedroom upstairs. After our hikes during the day we enjoyed the hot tub waiting for us. Thank you Ken for being such a wonderful host, we really appreciate this loving home. We will definitely recommend this place to friends!"

  • Wildcats - Lots of Space & Wonderful Game Room

"First of all, Mark could not have been nicer or more helpful and made the rental process about as easy as it gets. There are pros and cons for this rental although overall, we had a great weekend and feel very blessed to have gotten to stay there. Cons - Didn't look like the cleaning person had run the vacuum on the steps or dusted. We also were visited by several mountain bugs (which can't be helped in the mountains), but I am confident that this owner will do what he can to treat for them. May be time for some updates, but very comfortable surroundings. Very steep hill to get to the cabin--would not want to be stuck in bad weather. Pros - So much space--wonderful amount of room. Whole floor of games and entertainment which was wonderful. We decided just to stay in one afternoon because there was so much provided to do. We really enjoyed it! Nice large TVs on the main floor and downstairs. Plus all bedrooms--king beds which is a rare find. Towels were nice, large, and fluffy (not thin cheap that you usually find). Overall, I would say we had a great experience, and like I said, the owner could not have been nicer."
