  • Family Spring Break

"The cabin, when we pulled in, (the four of us, parents and two college students) looked just like the pictures inside and out; which was 95% what drew us to this particular cabin. It was fun to check it all out and we were all impressed. There were a few cleaning issues, but that has nothing to do with the owners, but the cleaning company and we addressed that with them. The hot tub was brackish and we gave a quick call to Gary and he had the hot tub people there that afternoon and it was ready to go! We all enjoyed the hot tub during our stay. The full sized window was a great view and made it feel so open. Our bichon frise, Lily, loved the cabin as well. She soaked up the sunshine from the huge mountain side windows. She was in paradise. A word to dog lovers, there is a mini golden doodle that permanently lives across the road that has free reign to the neighborhood. He does love meeting "girlfriends". We spent the days going through National Park and then would come back to our crock pot meals (I brought the crock pot) and spent relaxing evenings playing games, watching t.v. and movies, and surfing the web while having a fire in the fireplace in the cabin. The kitchen was fully stocked with cookware and bowls cookie sheets etc. I did ask about a crock pot which it doesn't have, so I was prepared with mine. There was so much room for all of us to spread out and do our own thing. One could never find that much square footage in a hotel room or even a family suite. Loved having the loft upstairs which held the game room and little bedroom balcony as well. We all agreed that if this cabin is still available, we would rent it again in a heartbeat. We have AT&T phone service and it worked beautifully. Our GPS took us right to the cabin, and the wi-fi was easily accessed at the cabin. This cabin had everything that we needed to stay in touch with our business while we got away and had a relaxing, stress free vacation."

  • Excellent!

"We had a wonderful time! May need to watch the driveway and entrance to the deck as it's very narrow and hard to get out of your vehicle without falling. The vacation manager was nothing but helpful and answered any questions we had even though it was Thanksgiving! We had a car accident and they helped lead us in the right direction to have our vehicle looked at. You will need to remember shampoo and soap, toothpaste but that wasn't an issue! I enjoyed our stay and will be back again!"

  • Great location and views, needs a bit of updating

"This is the second time we have stayed at BellaVista. The first was 4 years ago, and our very first time in the PF/GBurg area. We've been back many times since, and every time we have compared our other rentals to this house. The house is huge. 4 big bedrooms plus a loft area with 2 twin beds. 5 bathrooms. 3 big levels of living space. This is a great house for a large group as you will not feel crowded. The views off the back porch are beautiful, and while you are in a development, you are at the very top so you barely notice the other houses in your view. The house was clean, tons of towels, and extra blankets in the closet. 7 minutes from PF, 10 minutes to a grocery store. Easy ride, easy to find. IMO, this makes for a great property. Now for the not so great: The house hasn't been updated since we were there 4 years ago. The beds are so-so, not comfortable, and need to be replaced. The sofas are large and were probably once fabulous, but now you sink into them and it is difficult to get out. The handle on the stove pulls off the screw if you pull to hard, one burner doesn't work, and the refrigerator is on its last leg. While there are plenty of pots and pans, everything is well worn and of inexpensive quality, so if you plan to cook you may want to throw a pan or two in your bag."
