"After a couple of days in Nashville we were looking for some quiet time. We have neighbours who have gone to Pigeon Forge and loved it so we thought we would try it. A phone call and a email is all it took and we were on our way. 4 hours later we were sitting in our beautiful little cabin in the woods!Check in is as easy as can be they email you the code for the door and then a while after we arrived a lady came with information and a complimentary breakfast coupon to the old mill restaurant which was delicious!!!As its January and not a lot to do we spent pretty much the whole 2 days in our cabin and in the hot tub loved that. All I can say is that we LOVED IT all of IT!! and definitely will be returning in the future!!"

  • National Quartet Convention trip

"Enjoyed our stay at Workman Wigwam. Quiet and peaceful away from the traffic in Pigeon Forge but close to all the attractions. We went to The National Quartet Convention at the new LeConte Center, Dollywood, The Island, and drove up to Gatlinburg. After a full day of activities the hot tub was very relaxing. Hope to stay again soon!"

  • Great Views!

"With 9 adults and 2 children we all comfertably fit in this huge cabin! The views are incredible. The house is clean and well kept and has basically every kitchen utensil and appliance you would need, including crockpots and even a hand mixer! There is tons of deck space, but unfortunately we couldn't enjoy it as much as we wanted to because of the massive amount of wasps and wood bees that would just fly right into your face, I understand that's just nature and it is spring, we just wish there was some sort of better pest control. There is 2 air conditioners to cool the whole house, but the air conditioner for the top 2 floors seemed to not be able to handle the amount of space to be cooled considering the house was at 80 for a few days and we couldn't get it to cool down, maintenance did nothing but tell us to that turning the temp down will not cool down the house (not really sure about the logic in that). Also, there is no hangers besides in the coat closet, so bring your own if you have nice clothes you want to hang up. Another thing we weren't aware of until we got there was only a little bit of soap, dish detergent and toilet paper would be provided and we were responsible for the rest. We stayed for an entire week so with food for 11 people an additional refridgerator would have been nice for beer, water, soda, wine, extra food storage etc, so bring your cooler if you want to keep that stuff cold! Other than that we really did enjoy ourselves. The location is great, not a far drive from town at all. If you can I would highly suggest hiking to the very top of Mt. Le Conte via Alum Cove trail, so beautiful!"

  • Great Spring Break!

"Highly recommended for a family trip with lots of room for everyone. With three king bedrooms, 3 sofabeds and that great loft for the kids, we had plenty of room for everyone. Kitchen was fully stocked as we cooked three meals a day and found everything we needed. Jan and Mike were great to furnish all the information we needed and were quick to respond to any of our questions before the trip. All our three year old grandson wanted to do was play air hockey with Grandaddy while the adults enjoyed the pool table."
