  • Lovely home and wonderful place to stay

"Our family of 9 certainly enjoyed our stay at Hemlock Grove. The house was super clean, tastefully decorated and well-equipped. The owners are very helpful and pleasant to work with. The separate sleeping areas in the main house made for easy and comfortable accommodations for all our combinations of adults, kids, and grandkids. The property IS remote, and just what we were looking for- a chance to leave our busy lifestyles and cell phones behind. Grown up and kids enjoyed playing board games, cards, exploring, hiking, cooking, building fires, roasting marshmallows. Wonderful views along the trails and a bit of local history in the surrounding area and among the older structures. This is a wonderful place for families to relax and reconnect. Thanks Lee!!"

  • Just right!!!

"I just came back from discovering this hidden gem. I have stayed in many wonderful locations around North Carolina and now this place is my new favorite. I loved everything about Tellico Plains and this cabin is right on the river so its sounds are so soothing and yet you are four minutes from town which is so cute. You must patronize Tellico Grains Bakery and of course your neighbors, both Katz's Deli and The Drive-in on the other side for delicious diner type fare including ice cream; there's always a line and there's a beach for a refreshing dip in the river! The road to the falls is exquisite, pure eye candy and then when you get back to your cabin it is the perfect home base. It is cozy, decorated tastefully and they have pretty much thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. I finally saw Cuty Slickers thanks to their eclectic DVD collection. Great Shower, too!!!! Don't hesitate to choose this one if you are are a small group. You do have a grill overlooking the river and a picnic table in addition to the comfortable riverside deck. I cannot say enough about this cabin and its idyllic location. If you love browsing used books check out The Book Shelf in Historic Downtown Tellico and tell Ivy I said Hi! And let me not forget to say that Becky was super sweet and helpful. I hope to stay longer next summer. Something to look forward to... Thanks a lot for renting this propery out. Sincerely, Marie from Miami"

  • Thanks for renting your lovely home to our family.

"The log cabin was nestled on the edge of the Cherokee National Forrest. It was surrounded my majestic mountains and flowing streams. Plenty of Bedrooms with plush pillows and hand made quilted comforters. The fire pit was massive with loads of cut fire wood for our campfires. Long winding driveway for our truck and trailer. ATV rides through the logging trails to the top of the mountain provided magnificent views of the farm and surrounding country side. You can see for miles in every direction from the view at the top. The farm was clean and well stocked. The care taker Jennifer provided fresh eggs from her roost. Toby and Tammi provided us with a full stocked fridge and mini bar all included. Plenty of towels and stocked snacks, sodas and icecream for us and our kids. I would definately reccommend this place to my family and friends. We loved to grill on the stainless grill on the deck and visited the Tellico Grains Bakery for delicious treats. White water rafting was a blast too. Thanks for sharing your slice of heaven with us. We;ll be back"

  • Last minute in October

"We waited really late to get reservations in Gatlinburg, but found this at the last minute. It's very quiet and off the beaten track. It worked well for us to go out on day trips and come back to in the evening. Very clean and comfortable with everything we needed. My husband enjoyed playing his banjo on the porch without bothering anyone. Lee was very helpful with directions and tips for the house and navigating the surrounding area. There is plenty of room for a large family or group to spread out in. We appreciate them letting us stay there on such short notice."
