  • Thanks for renting your lovely home to our family.

"The log cabin was nestled on the edge of the Cherokee National Forrest. It was surrounded my majestic mountains and flowing streams. Plenty of Bedrooms with plush pillows and hand made quilted comforters. The fire pit was massive with loads of cut fire wood for our campfires. Long winding driveway for our truck and trailer. ATV rides through the logging trails to the top of the mountain provided magnificent views of the farm and surrounding country side. You can see for miles in every direction from the view at the top. The farm was clean and well stocked. The care taker Jennifer provided fresh eggs from her roost. Toby and Tammi provided us with a full stocked fridge and mini bar all included. Plenty of towels and stocked snacks, sodas and icecream for us and our kids. I would definately reccommend this place to my family and friends. We loved to grill on the stainless grill on the deck and visited the Tellico Grains Bakery for delicious treats. White water rafting was a blast too. Thanks for sharing your slice of heaven with us. We;ll be back"

  • Last minute in October

"We waited really late to get reservations in Gatlinburg, but found this at the last minute. It's very quiet and off the beaten track. It worked well for us to go out on day trips and come back to in the evening. Very clean and comfortable with everything we needed. My husband enjoyed playing his banjo on the porch without bothering anyone. Lee was very helpful with directions and tips for the house and navigating the surrounding area. There is plenty of room for a large family or group to spread out in. We appreciate them letting us stay there on such short notice."

  • Everything was perfect!

"My husband and I stayed for a week at this charming stone cottage. It was pristinely clean. Smelled great, not a single bug to be found. This is not a modern upscale rental, it is exactly as it claims to be. A quaint country cottage. The decor was perfect for the locale, as these Appalachian foothills are deeply steeped with history. The old-time pictures and nick-nacks truly set off the appeal. You really felt like you've gone back in time and you could feel the "carpe diem" eminate from the eyes in the actual turn-of-the-century photographs. The landscape was nicely done with a lovely ENGLISH ivy climbing about the stone walls. Behind the cottage is hundreds of acres of forested hills, no neighbors in site. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly. The hosts were spot-on in their balance of giving information, rules and expectations while keeping you feeling very welcome, confusion-free, in need of nothing and completely private. They really take care of you! The cost vs value on this property is a no-brainer. Location is prime for privacy, romance and "getting away from it all". I highly recommend this place for a mountain get-away. As far as the previous somewhat negative review, just remember, there's one in every crowd!"
