"We had 8 family members who meet each year for a week in June in a mountain area. The house was very nice, roomy & very clean. The kitchen was well equipped for us since we do a lot of cooking. We enjoyed the whip-poor-wills while sitting on porch in late evening. We enjoyed playing pool in bunk house & having extra space. We appreciated the welcome basket of goodies upon our arrival. The owner Lee came by to check on us & provided everything we needed for our stay."

"My wife and I stayed at your lovely cabin last week and could not have enjoyed it more. Our two dogs loved the extra room to run in front of the cabin. The cabin is well stocked and is surrounded by trees and mountains so you do not want to leave. It is very peaceful and quiet but only about 15 minutes away from Tellico Plains and the Skyway. We plan on going back next year as well!
I almost forgot too mention the wonderful 4 wheeler trails that are around the property. Bring your own or rent the owners."

"My husband and I stayed for a week at this charming stone cottage. It was pristinely clean. Smelled great, not a single bug to be found. This is not a modern upscale rental, it is exactly as it claims to be. A quaint country cottage. The decor was perfect for the locale, as these Appalachian foothills are deeply steeped with history. The old-time pictures and nick-nacks truly set off the appeal. You really felt like you've gone back in time and you could feel the "carpe diem" eminate from the eyes in the actual turn-of-the-century photographs.
The landscape was nicely done with a lovely ENGLISH ivy climbing about the stone walls. Behind the cottage is hundreds of acres of forested hills, no neighbors in site. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly.
The hosts were spot-on in their balance of giving information, rules and expectations while keeping you feeling very welcome, confusion-free, in need of nothing and completely private. They really take care of you!
The cost vs value on this property is a no-brainer. Location is prime for privacy, romance and "getting away from it all".
I highly recommend this place for a mountain get-away. As far as the previous somewhat negative review, just remember, there's one in every crowd!"

"This was a really nice, large, comfortable and peaceful house. Neighbors were extremely nice and helpful. The owners really thought of everything to include in this property. We met with other family members to ride motorcycles on the Tail of the Dragon. It is a bit far out but we came to ride so it wasn't a problem for us. Sloans Market in Vonore has everything you need. The location is easy day trips to all the sights. If you are coming to fish, then this is the place to be. We enjoyed out stay very much. Very beautiful country. PS: The only caution I would say is not to go past the swimming area to the left just past the dam, as it turns into a small, gravel off-road trail with no where to turn around."
