  • Quiet and Secluded

"5 days is far too little time to enjoy the serenity of this wonderful cabin. Located at the end of a secluded road, the Chocolate Moose offers everything you could need for that trip to “get away from it all”. There is an abundance of wildlife that can be observed from the comfortable front porch. Be sure to check out the owl perched in the tree to the left of the cabin. It took us 2 days to determine that it wasn’t real, but how cute. Geri, the owner, has a great decorator’s touch and has provided her guests with everything you could possibly need; from information about the cabin to attractions nearby. In the evening you can sit on the porch and listen to the little waterfall at the base of the hill. The king bed is super comfortable and we lacked for nothing during our stay. Call Geri and plan your visit, you won’t be disappointed."

  • Amazing Trip

"The cabin was great. It was well- furbished and had plenty of space to fit 14 people. The view overlooking the mountains was amazing. The only tough part is the drive up the mountains is rather steep, but totally worth it once you arrive. The owner was great to work with and takes great care of her property. Would love to come back. Thanks for allowing us into your home."

  • Beautiful, peaceful, and so comfortable

"My two teenaged sons, my small dog, and I stayed at this wonderful cabin just last week for spring break. There was plenty of room for all of us, the cabin was in fantastic shape, and we loved everything about it! The initial drive up the mountain to the cabin's secluded location was a little daunting on the first evening, but I learned to drop to a lower gear and take my time. By the second day, we were pros at getting up and down. The cabin was close enough to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge to get to everything easily. The Hale's were very kind and responsive to my phone calls and e-mails prior to the visit. We would love to stay again some day! Book this cabin if it's'll be so glad you did!"

  • most relaxing vacation

"We loved our stay at Arts cabin!! My husband and I and our best friends vacation together every year and this was the most relaxing vacation yet. We enjoyed it so much that two of our days we didn't even leave the cabin, just stayed in and enjoyed the deck, hot tub, and cooked on the grill. Getting into town doesn't take long and is a beautiful country drive. The cabin is secluded and offers everything you could need or want for comfort and convenience. We are looking forward to our next vacation in Tennessee and will stay in one of Arts cabins again, he makes sure that everything is going well and you are enjoying your stay. Thank you Art for sharing your cabin with us."
