"We enjoyed the quiet and solitude of the cabin. We were very comfortable. The location is great for the convenience of being close to Cade's Cove as well as Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg."

  • Happy Travelers

"We had a great time in Townsend and enjoyed this house. It was exceptional clean and neat. Very relaxing weekend. The kids enjoyed the hot tub while we enjoyed the rocking chairs and watching the horses in the neighboring field. Very quiet stay but just a little drive back to anything you wanted to do. I would recommend this rental to my friends and we plan to return ourselves. Be sure to try out Campfire Grill. Best burgers and rings ever, very friendly help. We also saw 3 bear in Cades Cove. Be sure to visit just before dusk."

  • Sweet little cabin

"I came to Townsend to finally see and hike Cades Coves, and part of the AT trail. I wanted something simple, clean, comfortable and close to the Park. It was perfect for me. The front porch is nice. Spent mornings there with coffee. You can hear the traffic from the main road once the day get's busy. But it did not bother me, as I was gone for most of the day. Nights were quiet and peaceful. I used the wood burning fire place every night. The furnishings are comfortable and simple. If you are looking for elegance, this is not for you. It is truly a simple and lovely little log cabin. I cooked every morning and evening, and was happy and content. It is very close to all Parks. And groceries, gas, restaurants, and a bit of antiquing is near. It now has wifi. I never used it. Or turned on the TV. To much nature to enjoy from the front porch. I hope to return to this little piece of heaven."
