"The Fishin' Hole Cabin was very nice. It was very clean and it was centrally located. The owner Richard Carnes, was absolutely outstanding in his customer service. He was very quick with his responses upon my original inquiry through this sight and he made himself readily available at all times. He still maintains the high standards of customer service. A rare thing these days. Can't say enough about his willingness to be available and answer questions. He came to mow the grass at the property while we were there and he was as nice in person as he was on the phone. Cabin was well equipped and we wanted for nothing. Location on the river was great for my teenagers, especially those that liked to fish. We were there early in the year so it was too cold yet to swim, but I imagine this is an even better property in the warm weather.
My only drawback to this property is that it is not remote. From the pictures posted on this site it appears that it has much more property than it does. It is actually located in a residential neighborhood and the houses are all very close together. It is not remote and privacy is an issue. For this reason I would not recommend it for a romantic getaway.
However, that said, that is my one and only drawback to this property. It really is lovely and it fit our family's needs wonderfully. It is located less than 10 minutes from the entrance to the Smokey Mountain National Park and maybe 20 minutes from Pigeon Forge. It really is centrally located in Townsend and the River Rat Inner Tube Rental facility is literally just up the road. Again, perfect for summer time rental. Just know that when renting this property you are in a neighborhood. It is a quiet neighborhood and the neighbors whom we did have contact with were all very nice. We felt very safe. It is just not a remote cabin location, so know that up front.
Otherwise, again, Mr. Carnes could not be more attentive or acommodating. He answered every question we had. Offered much information about the area, including, great fishing tips for the river! The lock box and access to the cabin was seamless and everything went very smoothly. Cabin has a great porch swing, wonderful and well maintained jacuzzi, and a table with 4 chairs on the deck as well. We spent a great deal of time out there. It also has a fire pit with benches around it off the deck in the front yard facing the river. Very peaceful ambiance. The kids loved it!!"

"We recently spent a week in the Smokey Mountains and stayed in Precious Memories. the home is comfortable, spotless and private. A perfect place for us to get away and relax. My hubby took a new job last spring that had us separated for 8 months. We planned this trip near the completion of the project. We knew we would have all the amenities of home, and the mountains and local areas to explore and shop. Can't wait to return !"

"We returned today from a last minute trip to the smoky mountains. We were able to book this lovely cabin, and im so glad we did. It has so much character, and charm. Close to Cades cove, as well as Pigeon Forge, and Gatlingburg, yet away from the crowds, in a peaceful setting. We will definitely be back! Thank you so much to the owners for accommodating us last minute."

"After looking over many cabins in the Townsend area, we finally settled on Trinity's Hideaway, and we are so glad we did! My husband and I enjoy both hiking and golf, and this was the perfect location for both! We had excellent hikes in the Cade's Cove area, but were also in decent driving distances to other areas of the park, so we were also able to explore Clingman's Dome, Cherokee, and the Roaring Fork Nature Trail near Gatlinburg. After hiking in the morning, we would often golf in the late afternoon or evening at the Laurel Valley Golf Course where this cabin is located. Beautiful views and a great course for both men and women. We also swam in the beautiful pool that is part of the golf course. Then after an active day, we could soak in the hot tub back at our cabin. The food at Miss Lilly's was divine, but we also enjoyed cooking in at our cabin's well equipped kitchen. Although other cabin's are close by, it is very private and peaceful in this cabin."
