"Peaceful, tranquil, relaxing...exactly what we were looking for. Out stay at the Stone Cottage really quite perfect. The house is tastefully decorated, and makes you feel like you stepped back in time just a bit. Comfy bed and pillows, a convenient and well equipped kitchen and bath. A little off the beaten trail, but not too far. The peace and quiet at night was wonderful - as were the star filled skies. We loved the outdoor fireplace. We also loved the fact that the owner, Woody Mason, was easy to work with, and responded quickly to questions before we arrived. We plan to move to the area one day, and are even more excited after this most recent stay!
Thank you for making us feel welcome, and quite at home,
Ellery & Beverly Girard"

"In the 20 years my husband and I have been going to East Tennessee, this was the most beautiful cabin with the most spectacular view that we have ever rented; Incredible sunsets and fog filling the valley below in the cool mornings. The location was perfect, close to the highway and everywhere we wanted to go, but so quiet and peaceful with no other cabins in sight. We were able to completely enjoy ourselves and relax. We hope to stay here every time we go to Wears Valley in the future."

"We enjoyed our stay in the cabin on Little River. It was clean and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and feeding the horses. My grandson had fun in the river wading as it was too low to swim or tub due to the dry conditions. We also had fun walking to the swinging bridge and into town. Richard Carnes was very helpful in recommending places to eat and was also available for any needs we had. He was also good to talk with when making our reservations. We would definitely stay here again."

Very nice cabin and owner was very good to work with
"Cabin was just as it was described in the listing. Everything was clean and ready for use when we arrived. Had one issue with an electrical switch but the owner had it replaced the next day. Would definitely recommend this cozy little cabin. Close enough to the action of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg but still far enough away for the peace and quiet of the mountains. We love the Smokies and recommend that you visit as much of the Park as possible. We were able to get 5 days of gorgeous hiking in and still get back to the cabin in the evening to relax the sore muscles in the Hot Tub."
