  • Excellent choice, very serene and comfortable!

"This cabin was perfect for the two of us! We usually stay in the PF/Gatlinburg area but decided to try Wears Valley for the first time. Very quiet, remote feel yet 10 min from PF or Townsend area. Sits on a mountain with great views of Wears Valley below from the wrap-around deck. The owner has added the perfect touch of decor and amenities to make it feel like home. Exceptionally clean for those with sensitivity to allergies. The hot tub is perfectly situated on the deck for watching sunset over the valley. Cabin is well stocked with cookware, linens, small appliances, etc. Very easy access to the National Park using back road off 321 (Lyon Springs Rd). Marlene (owner) is very accommodating and genuinely concerned for her guests. She strives to keep her guests happy. We feel blessed God allowed us to find this treasure. We look forward to our next visit. Thank you Marlene and Brett, you are the best!"

  • Amazing Vacation

"I stayed here with seven of my friends. We had a great time! I would recommend this cabin to people of any age. This cabin is perfect for friends and family. It's in a great location with plenty of things to do close by. We never wanted to leave!"

  • Second visit even better than the first

"This was our second visit. This time we had three couples and one teenager. There was enough room that nobody felt crowded. We even had room for seven more family members to come for a visit one evening. As usual the house was clean and the beds were excellent. Bruce and Carolyn pay so much attention to details and provide such a warm welcome when you arrive. They provide brochures to all surrounding attractions and a list of drugstores, grocery stores and restaurants nearby. This time they added a floor layout of the brand new Wal-Mart just 4 minutes away. We felt totally at home here. The only reason we could give a negative review would be to try to keep this house secret so it wouldn’t be booked when we want to return. That would be unfair to Bruce and Carolyn and to all others like us that like to travel and have a home away from home waiting for them."

  • Great holiday weekend!

"Our family spent a wonderful long weekend at this lovely home making great memories with children and grandchildren. The lakefront location was a perfect place to relax (screened porch was a favorite spot) but if we wanted to do something, we fished and canoed. The kitchen was very well stocked with cute dishes and plenty of pots and pans. There are restaurants close by so if you don't want to cook, you have several options. The beautiful Sewanee campus is not to be missed. The owners of the house are great and extremely helpful. All in all, a fantastic weekend!! I would highly recommend staying here and we definitely want to go back!"
