  • OUR ANNUAL SUMMER LAKE TRIP!

"We have stayed at this cabin for the last 3 summers. As always, we have the best time. If you trailer a boat, it is great for parking. Many of the rentals are very hard to get to if you have a boat. The home itself is perfect. It is nicely furnished and the kitchen is well stocked. The view is beautiful and we love sitting out on the pourch in the morning and evenings. The owner is wonderful to work with. I have rented alot of properties through VRBO from Tennessee to Florida and this one is the best. We will be back next year!!"

  • Loved it so much we want to be neighbors!

"My husband and I usually spend a few nights in the Smoky Mountains without our children, but we decided to stay closer to home (Nashville area) this year. Fall Creek Falls was just as beautiful as anything in the Smokies without having to worry about bears (or traffic)! We did see a fox trot across the lawn, so there is still plenty of wildlife. The cabin itself is in an amazing location. You can almost get a view through the trees from the deck, but the short walk out the rock is worth it. Unlike the Smokies, there are no other cabins to see or hear on the other hills. It's just quiet and breathtaking. We hoped to catch a sunrise, but it was overcast the weekend we went. The waterfall is amazing, too. Next time I will bring a book to read while I enjoy the sounds and the coolness under the trees. The cabin is small, but the deck and property are large. I just wanted to spend time outside. We actually found it bigger than we needed for just the two of us and see no problem with spending a weekend with our family of 4. It was also nice to have coffee, tea, sugar, salt and pepper - the things you forget. We fell in love with the town, too. We attended Spencer Church of Christ and were the only visitors. On the way in we stopped at The Pink House Gifts - the only shop on the square. The owner was very friendly and invited us back for tea with Santa at the holidays. We hope to take her up on that - and we also hope this cabin is available to visit with our two girls. The surrounding property is for sale. Next time we go we plan to hike along the bluff to check out the views. Maybe we will wind up with a vacation home of our own!"

  • Everything you could need!

"I stayed here with 4 friends for our college reunion, and it was really fabulous. They have thought of everything you could possibly need during your stay, including great recommendations for things around town. Plenty of towels, too, which is something not all rentals think of! The house is walking distance to some fabulous restaurants and coffee shops (we loved grabbing coffee and muffins from Bongo Java each day). Since we were returning for our Vanderbilt reunion, we were also happy to be so close to Hillsboro Village and the Vandy campus."

  • Quiet Get Away

"If you're looking to get away in a quiet corner of the world, you've found it -- we didn't get a chance to use the hot tub (but we did check it out, and it was clean, the water clear).---when you get off the highway and you see the Piggly Wiggly, HG Hill Market or Aldi (depending on what highway you use), stop and get enough groceries for at least breakfast....will save you a trip later -- very pretty location."
