  • Our Parents 50th wedding Anniversary

"What an awesome place to spend time all together. The place was perfect for our parents to get around on the main level. Anything we needed was at our fingertips. The owner was very kind and accommodating. The view was so pleasant from inside the house or out on the back porch. I would defiantly rent this home again."

  • Perfect Apartment

"A friend and I came to Nashville for an extended girls weekend. This was the perfect place to stay and Hillsboro Village was a great part of Nashville. It was a quick walk to the Vanderbilt campus and Parthenon replica. We could get a taxi to Broadway St for cheap! The key-less entrance was so convenient!! We would both highly recommend this location and would definitely stay again!"

  • Nice Lake Getaway

"Two families rented this house for Memorial Day weekend. It was a nice place to stay, but not without some flaws. To start, the location was perfect. It's in a nice secluded cove away from the main lake traffic. The boat dock and lift were perfect! There was even a paddle boat which the kids and adults enjoyed. Moving on to the house, the basement was perfect for a group of 8 kids - a place for everyone to sleep comfortably and a place for them to hang out. Moving on to the upstairs, the kitchen is small and tricky to maneuver when preparing food for 12 people. The cabinets were very disorganized and the oven is very old and burned some of our food. We did most of our cooking on the grill, which worked great, but was under the deck. The main floor shower had no cold water, so the basement shower had to be shared. Thank goodness it was just a weekend trip! We had the kids "shower" in the lake - bar of soap and bottle of shampoo - works great! An outdoor shower would be a nice addition to this property."

  • Not your typical bed and breakfast

"We made last minute arrangements with the owners, due to a funeral in Shelbyville. We had a nine hour travel and upon arrival, we were very pleased. The pictures do not do it justice. It was very clean, superior bed linens and a fully stocked kitchen to prepare a meal. The owners are more than accommodating. They charge extra to stock the refrigerator with breakfast items and it was worth every penny. They charge a minimal fee for this service for all that you get. This worked great for us. You are close to Shelbyville but no restaurants in the immediate area. We loved the countryside and watching the donkey, cows, horses and Mabel and Chester, the resident rescue dogs. They would come visit our two small dogs every morning, as to say "good morning"! We hope to return for another visit some time later this year for a "happy" occasion! Rent this spot, you WILL NOT be disappointed. Only suggestion we would have is pot holders (we couldn't locate any and had we called I am sure they would have made sure we had some) no big deal. Other suggestion would be a light outside the side entrance door. Perfect place to go in and out but a little dark at night. Neither of these suggestions, would keep us from renting again! Owners were a delight! A lot of value for the price!"
