"I lived on the east side of my home town and was delighted to find Artful Place to stay while my daughter attended camp at Vanderbilt . The home was perfect and matched description online. My morning walks was an added bonus as well as tea on the porch . I will recommend this home to future travelers and I will certainly return as by daughter loves Vanderbilt!!!"

"My military family from Virginia and my family from Kansas met at The House at Lakeshore to enjoy a much needed week together. This house is amazing and Larry and Pam are amazing hosts. I was able to contact Larry about any questions I had before our stay and even during our stay and he always responded. We spend 90% of our time outside on the deck and playing in the water. The kids jumped off the dock and swam as we all watched from the deck. The deck had gates which made the trip with my 18 month old enjoyable and safe. The kids and adults kayaked and canoed daily. The guys fished every morning and sometimes in the evening. We caught fish but not to eat. We joked that we might say we ate a goose that the neighbors didn’t appear to think kindly of. It was a soap opera unfolding in front of us when the neighbor across the lake shot the goose and it was suspenseful for the kids as it took all day to float across the lake to our side. They loved the adventure and I always enjoy how curious kids are! We spent a day in Chattanooga and went to the aquarium which was fun and interesting for all. We took a day and hiked to some of the local waterfalls. The area is beautiful and we were all excited to swim in the falls. We bought groceries and ate all our meals as a family at the house. The second refrigerator and having the washer and dryer was great. The decorations and house make you feel at home. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms are beautiful, and the owners have thought of everything to make your stay memorable. We couldn’t have asked for a more relaxing, memorable, home away from home if we wanted to. We made lasting memories here and ones we will cherish forever. Larry and Pam thank you for sharing your home with us. We can’t thank you enough and we appreciate everything you did to make our stay the most memorable vacation we have ever had together. We have already talked about wanting to do this again! This family of 12 from Kansas and Virginia are very thankful for finding The House at Lakeshore!"

"It's almost impossible to write about our wonderful stay at Wingshot in Clifftops. Every few months a group of us gets together to wind down from our crazy lives as parents, caregivers, coaches, employees, etc. This mountain retreat was the perfect venue. The home was absolutely beautiful, the amenities were fabulous and the owner was just plain great to work with. We all felt at home - relaxed. It was a much needed getaway full of laughter, great food, breathtaking scenery and many, many memories. We are already looking at future visits!"

"Everything was great. It had a nice outdoor "mountain" feel. I read some reviews about a smell, but we didn't notice it. Loved watching the turkeys, especially in the mornings. They would roost just a few yards behind the cabin. The scenery was amazing. Rock bluff in the backyard with a spring or creek running out of it. Anytime you are outside you hear the sound of the creek. Everything was super clean. The shower was awesome. Not far from town and anything you would need. Only downside was...we couldn't find alot to do in Springfield. So we would just drive the 45 min to nashville. All in all, it was well worth the money, and we would definitely go back.
Also, Larry's restaurant in town had an awesome breakfast, and the steaks were amazing at Torinos."
