  • Family of six (Grandparents, Parents, two girls 8 and 12)

"Best weekend that we have spent together in a very long time. We enjoyed it so much that I actually got a lump in my throat when it was time to leave for home. The fall weather was just incredible; the leaves were still beautiful. There is just something special and almost magical about The Lake Cottage and its views of the amazing Tennessee River. This was a perfect place to have our daughter's birthday celebration. Loved every aspect of the time at this property and definitely plan a return."

  • Lisa & Terry, Northwest Indiana

"My husband and I have very stressful jobs, so we were looking for a place to relax and provide calmness. We so enjoyed the relaxation. Be prepared, there is no cell phone service or internet. But there is satellite tv. If you are really into relaxing and having a tranquil spot, this is your place. The location and home were beautiful. No matter what window you looked out, you had a view of the lake. The house sort of sits on a peninsula and the only traffic you have on your road is the family that lives at the end of the road. The boat dock is 100 yards from your front door. The house is beautiful and very spacious. The deck is the most amazing part of the house as you can see forever. The weather was unseasonable warm, 88 - 90 degrees each day. Too hot for the fish to bite, but there were plenty of them. The only drawback (for me) was that you had to travel for one hour before you came into a decent size town. (Clarksville) That is just me, I love to shop. I wish we would have spent more time talking to the locals, but you have to go into a small town or hang out at the Danville Grill and Bait shop located at the load dock. The house has it's own dock for your boat and that was wonderful. Very convenient. The house was so nice and so well layed out. Having a washer and dryer was awesome. The home had everything we needed. The pictures do not do the lake justice. You won 't be disappointed if you stay there."

  • Great location, ample room!

"Overall the property was an excellent choice for our Fourth of July weekend. Close to the lake, enough pots and pans to cook whatever you wanted, charcoal grill worked great for steaks! The canopy over the drive was huge, big enough to park two big cuddy cabin boats in. Perfect spot too, because we backed our boat up beside kitchen door and made load and unload extremely easy. Dish network was great for some music videos while we made breakfast. Would definitely go back again!"
