  • Comfy Labor Day

"The location is beautiful! The carriage house has everything one needs with nice view out the window. Wish there were deck space but it is over a garage after all. Lovely trail to scenic vista just a short walk adds so much. Great location for hiking Fiery Gizzard, hanging out in Sewanee and other day trips. They do have chickens and protective dogs who are sweet but suspicious of our dogs and we did have an "encounter" but everyone survived and did fine afterwards, but we could not let our dogs off their leashes. Just DVD, no cable/dish TV which didn't bother me but my hubby would have wanted TV to watch sports if our activities had been rained out. Internet WiFI wasn't working but they generously reimbursed us for that, beyond our expectations. Good people who want you to have a lovely time and the gardens and how well tended their place is, speaks to that."

  • Enjoyed our stay

"This was our first visit to Nashville and I originally was looking at downtown lofts to stay. But was so glad we chose this place instead after visiting downtown at night. This rental is close to Vandy and Belmont colleges that my daughter wanted to visit and our favorite Pancake Pantry. Drive downtown was short. The neighborhood was nice and quiet, and I didn't have any problem parking our car on the street. I had to finish some work on my computer, and the internet connection was available and fast. We did not use the kitchen except for the fridge. Basics were provided if someone wanted to use it. Too many good places to eat nearby. The beds were soft and comfortable. The bathroom was clean. Washer and dryer available as well. If we come to Nashville again, we would stay here again."

  • Great house and location for the Americana Music Festival 2014

"My three friends and I attend the music festival and conference annually and when the location of the conference was changed to the Hutton Hotel we sought out affordable rental that was both near the conference and music venues. This house was a wonderful find and the owners so accommodating. Everyone in the house slept comfortably and had plenty of space to relax. The house is in a quiet and lovely neighborhood with great restaurants nearby. We had a rental car but also utilized both Lyft and Uber to get around Nashville. Both services were affordable and practical when 4 people cannot all agree on one place to dine or see live music. I plan to return next year. :)"

  • Nice property, great location, EXCELLENT customer service

"My 5-star rating comes from averaging a 6-star (yes, 6-star) rating for Suzanne who manages the property and 4-star for the property itself. Suzanne is right on top of it and handles things in a very professional, yet friendly manner. For me, that goes a very long way in my overall confidence in renting a property sight-unseen Thanks for the help with the key, Suzanne! Really like this property a lot! It was as depicted in the photos, very clean, very comfortable, very well equipped. Just a couple things we weren't crazy about: there is a PVC pipe that runs vertically through the unit . It would have gone completely unnoticed except that it was raining hard and the water rushing through it was very loud and very constant. Also, my daughter and I took the stairs down instead of the elevator. The stairs lead to an alley and the doors back into the building on each floor were locked. Thankfully, my husband had taken the elevator and was chatting with the very kind gentleman who has security duty on the weekends. When he realized we had taken the stairs he went looking for us because he knew the situation. I don't think we missed a sign or anything because he said he thought it would be a good idea if they were marked more clearly. All in all, we had a very pleasant experience at MusicCityLoft. Dani and Suzanne are true professionals and you can really count on them for a great stay."
