  • Awesome!!!!

"We stayed at Artesia for a girls' weekend in Nashville and had an amazing time! Great location--walked through Vanderbilt campus to Pancake Pantry, $15 cab ride downtown to the bars/honky tonks (including tip--split among 5 girls = a whopping $3 per person!). A perfect set-up for those who get up a little bit earlier than the others (able to hang out in the kitchen/living room), lovely bedrooms/bathrooms in which to get ready for a night out/afternoon of touring...all in all, a perfect VRBO experience! And Keith was extremely responsive--easy check-in/check-out (all via email!)! Would definitely stay here again!"

  • Perfection in Tennessee

"This property is simply amazing! I have travelled significantly worldwide and I can't think of anywhere I have stayed that has been this special or unique. My family stayed for 4 nights and they were terribly disappointed when we had to leave. Even the beds were super comfortable. There is plenty to do in Franklin, Leiper's Fork and downtown Nashville... as well as just hanging around the house. This home is beautiful, warm and cozy. The layout allows the entire family the ability to relax and unwind together. Everything we needed was available and the home is so organized everything was easy to find! The grounds are impeccably maintained and clean. Thank you so much for sharing your home and your hospitality! I will be back!"

  • 3G, unplugged, and much more!

"Three generations of my family recently enjoyed 5 wonderful days at The House at Lakeshore. At one time or another, over the long weekend, we had 9 adults and six of our grandkids (ages 3-6). We never felt crowded. The spaciousness and appointments of the house and deck, the acres of manicured yard and acreage, and, of course, the pristine 73 acre lake and property dock, and the 3Gs....Gus (resident donkey and kid whisperer), Goats, and Geese provided everything you could want for a family getaway. The animals and the lake provided endless daily treats for our grandkids and adults, as well. Larry and Pamela are wonderful hosts; providing local tips, information, and assistance whenever needed. My wife and I have used VRBO for many years in the US, Canada, and Europe, and have never been to a property that was so "prepared" for our visit. Larry and Pam take great pride in their property and go the extra mile in making your visit a memorable one. The property photos are excellent, but they can't capture the feel of the place....clean, quiet, peaceful, and inviting. For me, I thoroughly enjoyed the "unplugged" feeling of our stay. No one watched tv, read the paper, stayed on their phones, or even had a computer. The quiet calm of the lake and property seemed to draw everyone to the beauty and serenity of the deck, the yard, and the lake. The stately oak trees along the shoreline and dock provided shade throughout each day and an excellent vantage point to enjoy the water and the kids jumping off the dock or paddling around in the water. I could say more, but you get the picture! Try it.....you will be glad you did!"

  • Great place for small family or friends traveling together

"Me and a friend decided on Nashville this year for our annual Dallas Cowboys road game. This was the perfect place for us. It is about seven minutes from the front door to the airport, 10-12 minutes from downtown, and is right off the Interstate for convenience. The neighborhood is nice, and extremely quiet. The house was extremely clean, and very nice. The kitchen has granite counters and a nice glass-top stove which we used each morning to make bacon and eggs. We each had our own bedroom and bathroom. The owner was extremely helpful in communicating all the details we would need to know. I would highly recommend this place when staying in Nashville."
