"My husband and I needed a break from our busy lives in Nashville and this was the perfect solution. We wanted something quiet, serene and pet-friendly and the cabin was ideal. We also wanted to spend time outdoors, but neither of us are exactly the camping type. This charming, rustic (but very nice) cabin was the perfect fit! It looked just like the pictures (except the TV has since been upgraded to a flat screen) and we loved being able to prepare our own meals as well as enjoy the owner's recommended restaurants in Cookeville (a 20 minute drive). We met friends at Cookeville Boat Dock for a day of pontoon boatin' which was really fun. We also enjoyed hiking at Burgess Falls and Cummins Falls (next time we won't forget our swim suits...Cummins Fall has one of the coolest swimming holes we have ever seen!). We are already planning on coming back for another stay in what felt like our own private tree-house. Very well maintained property and we highly recommend it."

"After 20 years as a travel agent staying at large resorts my husband and I now prefer the convenience and privacy of private homes and I have to say that this house is the most well appointed we have rented to date. Now to the condition of the home, everything is in immaculate condition and decorated beautifully, it feels like home. My dad was having a surgery at Vanderbilt and the location couldn't have been better, its a wonderful historic neighborhood and only a short drive to anything you could want in Nashville. The owners were so helpful and courteous and more than accommodating. I would recommend this beautiful historic home to anyone visiting Nashville."

"This was our second stay at the Mulberry House and it won't be our last. The little house is spacious and perfectly decorated for warmth and comfort. Catherine and Doug made us feel like house guests rather than customers. Kitchen is fully equipped. Lovely cookies and bread awaited us. Plenty of food for making our own breakfast. Felt relaxing and very private. Decorated with lovely art. Very cozy with all amenities including wireless. We can't wait to return."
