  • Comfy Labor Day

"The location is beautiful! The carriage house has everything one needs with nice view out the window. Wish there were deck space but it is over a garage after all. Lovely trail to scenic vista just a short walk adds so much. Great location for hiking Fiery Gizzard, hanging out in Sewanee and other day trips. They do have chickens and protective dogs who are sweet but suspicious of our dogs and we did have an "encounter" but everyone survived and did fine afterwards, but we could not let our dogs off their leashes. Just DVD, no cable/dish TV which didn't bother me but my hubby would have wanted TV to watch sports if our activities had been rained out. Internet WiFI wasn't working but they generously reimbursed us for that, beyond our expectations. Good people who want you to have a lovely time and the gardens and how well tended their place is, speaks to that."

  • Awesome!!!!

"We stayed at Artesia for a girls' weekend in Nashville and had an amazing time! Great location--walked through Vanderbilt campus to Pancake Pantry, $15 cab ride downtown to the bars/honky tonks (including tip--split among 5 girls = a whopping $3 per person!). A perfect set-up for those who get up a little bit earlier than the others (able to hang out in the kitchen/living room), lovely bedrooms/bathrooms in which to get ready for a night out/afternoon of touring...all in all, a perfect VRBO experience! And Keith was extremely responsive--easy check-in/check-out (all via email!)! Would definitely stay here again!"

  • Sewanee Weekend

"My family went to Sewanee and they were thrilled for us to meet there and spend the weekend together. Everything was just as advertised and we had a good time. We took walks and toured the campus. I was especially fascinated with the glass recycling and from my expedition there I learned about "growlers"."

  • Simply Paradise

"Having been to Leiper's Fork many many times, I was familiar with the area and this place is located in the perfect spot. Close to everything yet you see nothing buy gorgeous views forever. It is truly a paradise. I took my daughter who is 10 and we not only loved every aspect of the meticulously clean, sophisticated yet very homey and warm cabin...we truly enjoyed country living at its best. From cooking pies to fishing, playing with the horses outside our front door, shooting, zip lining, fires with friends, music and smores...well it couldn't have been any more perfect. The owners Jack and Caroline were there and as warm and helpful as can be. I can't wait to book this place again and again!"
