  • Great house, great location!

"We recently drove down from Michigan and met up with friends from New Orleans for 4 days of great food and music in Memphis. This house was ideal for us! Beautiful house with great decor!! There was plenty of room for our group of 3 couples. We loved the short walk to Beale Street. There was so much to do that the four days was not enough. If/when we return we would absolutely rent the same house. Loved having a secure garage where we kept our car parked for most of the duration of our visit (we walked pretty much everywhere except Graceland). Linda, the owner, was very good to work with. She kept in touch via email and was always very quick to reply to questions. Karen, the manager, was also greast to work with. We let her know our approximate arrival time and texted her when we were 15 minutes away. She was waiting in the doorway for us when we arrived to show us where to park, take us through the house, and recommend places to eat and visit."

  • Tom

"We spent three nights here with a couple occupying each bedroom. Our daughter joined us for one night and slept on the futon. The house is decorated uniquely and has three full bathrooms. The master bed is a king and comfortable. The second bedroom has a full size bed that was comfortable as well although smaller than the master. The futon is in a den area off of the kitchen which does not have a door and the futon is a bit creaky. So, I would recommend limiting the number of adults to four. Kids could definitely survive on the futon. A ton of kitchenware is available. We ate out mostly, only having breakfast at the house but you could cook every meal there if you wanted to. The rental agent was very friendly and accommodating. We had no issues that needed attention. FYI for the homeowner. The ceiling fan in the second bedroom made a lot of noise when on high, may need balanced or something. We enjoyed our stay and will stay again! Downtown is close, the river is very close. Balcony off of master bedroom is especially enjoyable. Parked on street in front of home with no problems. My Avalanche would not fit in garage but it is fine for regular sized vehicles."

  • Perfect place!!!

"I can't say enough positive things about this place! Minutes from fine dining and fun! We loved having our vehicles close and opposed to staying in a hotel and valet parking! We are regulars to Memphis and will make this our new get away spot! Karen and Linda are very attentive and go above and beyond to make sure you have an excellent experience! Travelers note, not reflective of the rental: The trolleys aren't currently running and the buses aren't very reliable for busy weekends. If you are needing a cab, I recommend calling at least 45 minutes before and calling again to confirm 30 and 15 minutes before arrival. It was very cold in Memphis when we stayed and needed alternate transportation to cook convention center."
