  • Home Away From Home

"This was our first experience renting a home and it was great! So much better than a hotel room. This home was cozy and inviting and in a great location. We loved all the pottery, artwork, etc. Thanks, Marie!"

  • Relaxing week at La Mistica

"We loved staying at La Mistica for the week, in prep for an upcoming wedding. The kitchen is amazing to be in and well stocked for cooking. All of our guests that came by for a Sunday brunch were impressed by the house and felt comfortable in the multitude of areas to relax in. The pebble yard is beautiful and in the end we wished we had booked the house for a longer period. We would love to stay here again the next time we are in Marfa."

  • Colomo

"This was a quiet retreat for myself, husband and daughter from a hectic three day wedding event, although we spent very little time there apart from sleeping. The kitchen seemed well supplied, but we only made morning tea there and did not cook. The bike came in useful for my daughter to leave for her sister's rental and to help with wedding prep. Light switches in slightly inconvenient places, but we soon learned to deal with that. Decor was very much our taste. We enjoyed Maiya's, Cochineal, the Capri, Squeeze Cafe (who sold me some bread and saved the day for a Sunday brunch I was preparing at the daughter's rental)and the Get Go. All our younger guests loved staying at the Thunderbird and El Cosmico. All Marfans we encountered were extremely helpful. Marfa is a delightful and unique town."

  • Wonderful Retreat Spot

"This was an ideal spot for my week long solo retreat in Marfa! It is perfect for 1-2 people and right on the main strip with easy walking/biking to the center of town. I loved the loft -- open and bright, functional little kitchen area, huge beautiful bathroom and great outdoor deck. I would recommend this loft to anyone and David was great and responded to anything I needed with a easy going attitude. I hope to be back again next summer!"
