  • Quiet hideaway close to the beach

"I generally have low expectations for economical beach condos. Many are shabby and noisy. However, we were pleasantly surprised by Seamist #160. The unit was exceptionally clean, nicely furnished with a well-equipped kitchen, and very quiet at night when we really wanted the peace and quiet. The walk to the beach was a breeze (a short boardwalk takes you over the dunes). We never needed to drive to the beach. I highly recommend this condo for your next Port A getaway."

  • Beach Getaway

"My husband and I enjoy SPI after Labor Day Weekend every year because the crowds are gone with everyone back to school and the beach is deserted and so quiet! We love it at this time of year! This condo is very clean, quiet and comfortable. The complex is very small, quiet and clean. Both the owner and the property manager are very friendly, helpful and prompt to respond to all of my inquiries. The kitchen had everything we needed to be able to cook at home, the remodeled shower is very much appreciated and the bed is OK comfortable (we've had much worse and can't complain!). You can't beat the location and the view and you are right on the beach. There is gated access to the beach and nice mats over the sand to get you there, an outdoor shower to rinse off when you return. Enjoyed long walks on the beach every morning and every night. I don't think the pictures here do this unit justice! We can't wait to come back next year! Giving this condo a thumbs up 5-star review!"

  • Gread Condo

"We have stayed in this condo from the end of November until the first of March. We found it to be very comfortable and loved the beachy decor. It is close to Schlitterbahn and to the beach. Very nice walk around Isla Blanca Park most days. The condo is very clean. The owner was very flexible with the check in date and kept us updated by e-mail of activities around the area. He was very easy to reach and always available by phone and encouraged us to contact him if we needed anything. The maintenance people were extremely friendly and helpful. The pool area is beautiful and clean. The furniture and beds were comfortable. The laundry area was convenient (on 2nd floor) and reasonably priced. The free WAVE bus was really nice as you can go anywhere on the Island and even to Port Isabel. All in all we had a great time discovering all the activities around the Island and other parts of South Texas."

  • great relaxing place to getaway!

"I invited a few friends to come down for a long weekend of fishing. Capt. Mark's canal home is very nice and clean. Lots of room in the house and a very large deck overlooking the canal. On top of that we caught lots of fish. Fantastic memories were make. We will be back soon. Capt. Mark is easy to deal with and was always available by phone for questions."
