  • Beautiful South Padre Property

"Our family of 7 recently returned from a 5-night stay and all are very satisfied with this property. Photos cannot do justice for the panoramic views! The owners have indeed provided and planned for a very comfortable and convenient stay and chose the most incredible views. We have rented many properties through VRBO in the past (mostly hill country) and all have been wonderful and this property seems the best South Padre location. We are all looking forward to a return visit. The owner, Beth, is extremely courteous, helpful and approachable. The water was lovely, golf and dolphin tour excursions were all great. All in all, better than expected and well worth the drive for our family from Houston area and Waco area. Highly recommend!"

  • Wonderful beach house

"Three families (total of 15) with young children stayed at this very nice beach house. The house is next to the board walk and has views of the coast from the 3rd floor (dining room and balcony). There was plenty of space and room to accommodate all of us and the 7 young children. We would stay here again!"

  • Girls weekend

"My cousins and I stayed the weekend and we had an awesome time. The only thing that was missing was a waffle iron but we made pancakes instead. The house is so nice and homely like. It makes you feel right at home. Anyone looking for a nice, clean, fully furnished and supplied with everything you need, this is the place to be. We had a blast"

Aransas Pass Travel Tips

Getting to the Gulf Coast with Aransas Pass Vacation Rentals

Just north of Corpus Christi along the Texas State Coastal Highway, Route 35, is the town of Aransas Pass. This sleepy little town is big on beaches and wildlife, and short on residents. The dawn light comes in over the Gulf of Mexico and profiles the wildlife sanctuary islands just off the coast as the town's shrimping boats head out for the day's catch. Aransas Pass vacation rentals allow visitors to enjoy Texas hospitality and the easy pace of life on the shores of the Texas Gulf Coast.

Sunrise and Sunset Over the Texas Gulf Coast

Aransas Pass was once intended to be Texas' major port city, but that title went to Corpus Christi. While Aransas still has ports, it's now mostly a resort town. Aransas Pass is on the coast, but the city and its ports are spread over several islands via causeways and ferries. The biggest is the six-mile long Route 361 (oddly named 'Cemetary Road' by the locals), which connects Aransas Pass to the island of Port Aransas. The marine nature of the city provides scenic, quiet beaches in almost every direction. Visitors can see the sun rising and setting over water vistas. There's access to many by-owner vacation rentals.

Texas Gulf Coast Lodging, Camping, and RV'ing

Finding a place to stay isn't difficult in Aransas Pass; the city and outlying area have many by-owner vacation rentals, especially in the summer months. People prefer their Texas Gulf Coast lodging to be through a vacation rental, because the coziness and affordability of sharing someone's home is much more rewarding than an impersonal hotel. And Aransas Pass beach rentals allow a visitor to cook a shrimp dinner in a full kitchen, and then step right from the porch onto the beach.

Size of Texas Gulf Coast and abundance of Gulf Coast beach rentals would make your next vacation planning to Texas beach very exciting. Browse by destination and vacation rental type to have an enjoyable trip to Texas Gulf Coast: Corpus Christi vacation rentals, Galveston beach house rentals, Lake Corpus Christi lodging, North Padre Island home rental, Port Aransas beach rentals, Rockport accommodation, or South Padre Island beach vacation rentals.
